The Home Depot is the worst customer service company. They will not deal with any problems at the corp level. The 800 Home Depot customer service line only services as a message center. They take information and complaints and forward them back to the store. The store does nothing, so your issues go nowhere. Seeing Home Depot response here apologizing and referring people back to that same 800 number for help and resolution is ridiculous. You will wait through their prompts only to leave a message and have your issue again... read more
We ordered and paid for the LG stack washer/dryer tower in December in preparation for a laundry room remodel. We were first given a date in February for delivery, which we needed to postpone. We had a scheduled delivery date of April 1st - however the delivery driver got in an accident and was unable to deliver our appliance. Delivery was recheduled for the following week. The purchase a water heater from The Home Depot in August 2020. My water heater when out April 1, 2021, I called the phone number that is listed in the warranty manual. Gatlin Plumbing & Heating ,inc. of Griffith,IN., came out to check the water heater he charge $201.00 for an hour and half to check a water heater then $ 101.00 to install the defected control valve. $302.00 for a 6 month old water heater. Something should be done about these dam crooks Home Depot should be responsible for their defaced appliance.
I have contacted customer service and I am currently still on hold 60 mins later. Not to mention when I got through the first time I called after waiting 25 minutes, the customer service rep hit a wrong button and transferred me to a survey.. Needless to say she did not try and contact me back. So as I am typing this the rep came back on the line and said I have to reach out to a different customer service department that deals with deliveries because it's their fault. Ordered a refrigerator on 3/7. Had to wait till 4/8 for delivery. The refrigerator they delivered looked like a fork lift punctured through it. So we refused the delivery. I called to get a replacement and scheduled a delivery for 4/10. Daughter waited all day for delivery and finally called customer service to find out where the delivery is. I placed an order through Home Depot for shipment to my home address. The shipping company that they used (NSD) delivered a partial order 2 months later, and lost the item that was missing from my delivery. I am not able to contact NSD and speak to customer care to arrange for a return pickup of my partial order that was delivered - the call drops every time I call NSD and request to speak to a customer care representative. I have made 3 orders recently from Home Depot Vicksburg MS and none are satisfactory. There customer service line never answers for one and if they do, they transfer you or put you on hold til you hang up. Every order was missing items that were advertised as being in stock on line. They charged me for these items then tell me they don't have them and can't refund my money for 3 days therefore I can't go anywhere else to buy what I need. Whoever owns this store needs to fire everyone working there and start over.
I have purchased 4 doors last October 2020 and paid in full. As of today, I still haven't gotten my doors. :(
