Regarding Home Depot appliance installation and delivery (no specific store), the system for scheduling delivery is deeply flawed. I called the day prior to confirm all parts would be included. They weren't, so the first delivery didn't happen. I had to get the part myself (easily from Best Buy down the road). I rescheduled my delivery and called 7 times on 5 different days to try to get a confirmation. The confirmation never happened. Purchased two sink faucet sets in November of '20. In April of '21, one of the faucets became loose. Home Depot directed me to the company that THEY sent to do the installation and which I paid $199 per faucet. The company, Fast Water Heater Company, said that they no longer have a contract with Home Depot and would no longer honor their one year warranty for work performed. I purchased a John Deere riding mower from Home Depot in May of 2020. The mower included a $200 rebate in the form of a Home Depot gift card. According to the rebate page, if purchased online, no further action was required and the rebate should arrive via mail in 8-12 weeks. I purchased online so I waited. Online orders are terrible, over a month never received my order but they charged me for it. Found out they sent my order to a different store but won't ship it back to my store even though I paid for it. Never again, back to shopping at ******* instead.
Home Depot (through their Credit Card Service; Citibank Retail Services), automatically treats any purchase over $300 to a 0% interest for 6 months promotion. Then, even though I pay my entire balance due each month they only apply a portion to the promotional balance. Last month, after making a payment for more than $1400 (again, entire balance) they applied nothing to the promotion. We placed the order at the Magnolia TX location with a delivery date set for May 8 Saturday. we received the email confirming the delivery date and time frame of the delivery. We hired the crew to work on our deck and patio door replacement and while we were waiting on the delivery. They removed the patio door and dig the holes for the deck. I would give ZERO Stars if I could. Whatever you do, DO NOT GO WITH HOME DEPOT who uses CREW2 for your carpet install. THEY WILL ROB YOU BLIND. You will end up with carpeting that is shot and matted after a very short period of time (one year for us). Trust me, the "free install" IS NOT WORTH IT!!!!! They basically cut the carpet and throw it in and do not stretch (an inspector from Crew2 also verified this happened with their OWN company and still won't fix) which inevitably will leave you with RUINED carpeting in the en... read more
Absolute nightmare order of a Washer and Dryer. After ordering in February I'm still waiting for this to be installed. I've been given multiple incorrect delivery dates and having to go to the laundromat to do laundry.
