We have made 3 large purchases from the Milwaukee (53207) Wi Home Depot and all three resulted in terrible experiences. The 1st purchase was a Hampton Bay Glider that came scratched and missing the cushions, The 2nd purchase was a Whirlpool washing machine that was purchased on 5-9-21 & delivered on 5-15-21, on 5-18-21 when we went to use it there was water coming out on the panel and behind the washer. I bought a induction Range with convection oven paid $1495 for it. They delivered to my front door and I hooked it up the next day. After my wife started baking with it there was something bad wrong. It took twice as long to bake then our old range and in convection it would brown the outside and leave the inside undone. So I contacted Home Depot after owning the range for a week and a half. I am writing to share my recent experience shopping at Home Depot. On May 14, 2021, I ordered a Rheem water heater (50 Gal), the performance platinum model, with a 12-year part and an extended 10-year labor warranty. The order also included the installation service by OnPoint Home Services Inc., a Home Depot contracted installer. OnPoint provided and installed the water heater on May 19, 2021. All I asked for is a "same day" water heater installation. Went to Home Depot Saturday to get a water heater installed. They send out a lead that a company (***********) takes. The installation company promptly called me and told me the local office and alleviated my concerns. They told me the local office would contact me Monday Morning to set up a quote and install. This is by far the worst ever customer service experience I have ever had in my life. My husband made me buy this Maytag washer because it was American made, I have come to regret this decision ever since. Horrible customer service! I ordered an item online and FedEx must have delivered to the wrong address, I tried to file a claim with FedEx within and hour and was told they have an agreement with Home Depot and that Home Depot had to file the claim. When I notified Home Depot they told me I had to file a claim with FedEx even though I told them there was a cooperate agreement with FedEx and I wasn't able to do so. There response was it's not their problem and they couldn't do anything to help me.
Terrible CS. Never received my item. Admitted they "lost" it. This item was purchased on April 25th with latest delivery of May 14th. I thought maybe you all were being conservative and ordered anyways. It is now the 18th and no one in the organization can tell me where my $879 purchase is or when I will receive the item. I purchased a Frigidaire refrigerator from the Home Depot in Madison Heights, Michigan on April 19, 2021. My only request upon delivery was that the doors be changed to open from the right instead of the left. My first refrigerator was delivered on May 1, 2021 and I could not take delivery as the delivery men stripped the screws when trying to change the doors and could not honor my request.
