Horrible horrible company. Ordered a tub surround and tub on April 16 2021. Delivery apr 26- may 3. They charged us for the tub surround and shipped the tub. Called and text to fix. No fix. Then we got notified June 1 they are shipping the tub. On may 19 we cancelled the order to try and fix On June 4 the took out funds for the tub and now are shipping. Home Depot has to cut ties with Spirit Logistics! We purchased a refrigerator and washer/dryer and delivery was scheduled for May 28th, we moved in our new home and were waiting for their call for delivery. After no call and after the delivery window passed we were told they left early for the day ! The drivers said they called us, they did not! It was Memorial Day Weekend and they wanted to go home! Absolutely terrible and will never buy from Home Depot again! This is not the first time having to use the curbside pickup option and every single time (3 or 4 total since pandemic started during our "lockdowns" where they aren't open to go in and shop) and I get this can be busy but waiting 2+ days for a curbside pickup to be ready is absolutely unacceptable! The Home Depot might as well have stolen from me by not clearly stating their return policies. Terrible company for contractors!
Home Depot has cheated us out of $2500, delivering a defective washer/dryer set for a second time, and refusing to either fix it or remove the machines and refund the money. The first machine was visibly defective (and didn't even come packaged), we refused the delivery. The second machine flooded the room. We reported the machine being defective immediately (well within the 48 hour grace period). Almost a month after the order, we have no washer/dryer and no resolution in sight. I have tried to be fair with Home Depot and use them; however, I shoot myself in the foot every time as when I order something is goes COMPLETELY WRONG EVERYTIME. I ordered a bathtub for my house. Home Depot told me over and over that, someone from Non-Stop Delivery (NSD) would call to let me know they were delivering. No call and the completely wrong item shows up. Extremely disappointed that Home Depot's installation department puts blame on the customer when they do not complete an install. Just this morning, I had a dishwasher installed, but not completed. There were two minor issues to resolve, simply install the third rack and align the dishwasher so it doesn't rub its top right side on the side of the cabinet. Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service. No email, no website chat, the phone number doesn't connect half the time and when it does, nobody answers nor calls you back if you leave a call back number. The only thing that works is the text service, and you're limited to twitter length texts, if not even shorter than that. And once you do finally get an agent, none of them are able to do anything but transfer you to another agent, who can't do anything who transfers you to another agent, so on and so forth.
