Ordered a freezer that came damaged. We refused the freezer as their website said we should. This was June 5th. We still haven't gotten a refund June 28th. Totally unacceptable

I rented a one man auger for 24h. As soon as I got home and started digging (had done 2 holes), it fell apart. I found a single nut in the grass, and found out that the auger was held together by only one bolt, instead of the four it required. When I returned it, Home Depot refused to give me a full refund, stating that customers must call before returning defective rentals. I called customer support and they said the same thing. I have not had any issues with the store itself. My issue is with the Credit Services Customer Service they have. I had made a payment through my bank that was due on a Sunday. Twice the date was set for a Sunday--since I don't shop there that often, I always pay my account in full. When I sent the payment through the bank I set it up to send it on the due date--the Sunday it had stated in the statement. They did not get the payment until the Monday after so they decided to charge me a late fee. I spoke to a Representative e... read more

had a order for pick up then they changed to home delivery then they change delivery date by 2 days kayla did not care what i told her they wanted to fix this by being the middle man on thei issue so i had to stray from the issue because i was talking to them but they failed to care on what i was telling them they just wanted to contact fed ex for me to get them to deal with me but the issue is that they came to my house to deliver a package i have a 100 foot drive way so i guess they are scared to back up so they back in to... read more

We bought a dryer and washer machine on May 25. The first delivery came with a broken washer machine. I called to notify, they told me to use this one until the other arrived. They never told me that I had to disconnected the machine if I wanted the other. When the guy came he told me that he wasn't supossed to disconect the washer machine, so he left. Ordered a new Z grill May 28th, came in damage. Spoke with Home depot online and they arranged for a pick up the damaged one. They would not credit me until the old one was returned. I had to buy a new one cause I needed it for a party coming up. Their pickup carrier NSD never called to arrange a pick up. BEWARE - Messed up ordering system and no management or responsibility by staff in the store, I went into the Gosforth Bakersfield store looked at and bought a Refrigerator and paid for delivery ...... after a few days when there was no call to arrange delivery , I called the store ..THIS IS WHERE THE HOME DEPOT DELIVERY CIRCUS BEGAN ! I wish I could give a quarter star to this business. I bought a husky tool box from them, not from husky,. On the second job I took it to 45 days after purchase, the aluminum key broke off in the lock making it impossible for me to access my tools. After drilling out the lock cylinder I gained access to the top and top 2 drawers. The next day I went to Home Depot in wentzville Missouri to check if warranty would be honored if i destroyed the box to get my tools out. Don't order online from here. My order isn't being delivered by the delivery date, and keeps being pushed out further. Grrr I'd rather have bought elsewhere.
