Never ever buy an appliance from HD and get their protection plan. I have a 4 year old refrig that is not working and they want me to wait a week just to have someone access the problem. I am spending $50 a day on dry ice and ice to keep my food cold. I called a local appliance repair company and someone is coming TODAY !!!

I made an in-store order on July 9th (Order no. H0551-226688), paid an extra $20 to get a delivery window on Friday, July 16th in the afternoon. Took off from work early to be home to accept the delivery in time, but at around 2pm the delivery person told me over a text message that the store had nothing to deliver me. I called the store and was told that they had no product in stock. Ordered a shed on 6/1/2021. It was to be delivered on 7/5 to 7/8/2021. They sent a email 6/24/2021 that the shed was shipped. On 7/7/2021 I called because I had not heard anything as to when it would be delivered. They did not even know where the shed was. But it would be delivered 7/20/2021. It was still being built. The money was taken out of our account on 6/28/2021. I called their corporate office and spoke to customer service. They said it was shipped and we would get it by 7/15/2021. Went to home Depot in woodhaven Michigan and ordered carpeting got an estimate they called me with the main price they come out and delivered my carpet and put junk padding and junk carpet in my house not even close to what I ordered I spent $4 and something a foot for carpeting they sent me $2.28 a foot carpeting and now they won't do nothing about it but tell me tough luck. Main corporate office will not even talk to me I will never buy nothing again from home Depot

We could go into a long narrative of the lack of customer service displayed by Home Depot, but we'll let the following history speak for itself. Some training in being "pro-active" in customer service, along with a total revamp of their notification system is highly recommended. APRIL 1 - Ordered appliance package deal consisting of frig, range, dishwasher, & microwave. Delivery scheduled for June 18. APRIL (near the end) - Received credit call bill. I went to The Home Depot to rent out a chainsaw. Got home and the chainsaw was malfunction I went back to the store and they blamed me that I had broken the chainsaw. They will not give me my money back which was $39 dollars for the rental plus $440.78 because of damage that I did not do. It was the store employee that mishandled the equipment. If someone can please help me resolve this issue.

Very poor after sales service Bought a Frigadaire stove from them received it June 26 2021. Used it once, water spilled on back burner and it stained it really bad. Called home depot to exchange it for another model more expensive and was told sorry you have 48 hours to return or exchange. They told me to get in touch with Frigadaire to get warranty. I called Frigadaire only to be told because I didn't read page 32 of booklet saying before using make sure you clean with special glass top cleaner my warranty is void. I have u... read more

We ordered an expensive fridge from Home Depot online in May, because it was on sale. However our remodel was not until July, so we inspected the box to make sure there was no damage and seeing as the packaging was all intact, we decided to leave the fridge in the packaging, so it would be protected, until we were ready to install it. Come installation day, we unwrapped the fridge only to find dents and damage all over! Bought a washer and dryer from Home Depot in No. Myrtle Beach and also purchased the 3 year extended warranty. Before the year was up the dryer would not shut off and a repairman was sent out. He tried to duplicate the problem and could not, but the dryer was working when he left so we didn't have a problem with this. It is now 1 year from purchase and the dryer will not put out any heat.
