Home Depot Canada has the worst customer service of every company that I have ever interacted with. I have called and spoke to live agents and they have dropped me after hours of waiting and whenever an issue with the website arose. Oftentimes I find products cheaper at other locations, and when using the price match guarantee that is offered, Customer Service agents are moody and unhappy to give you any discount.

DO NOT buy anything that requires installation from Home Depot. The people at HD are fine, but they contract out the work and then do not take responsibility when it goes to sh**. When we purchased our countertop in February 2021, we were told installation would be in the next six weeks. After calling and emailing over 20 times, our flawed countertop (there is a large line of rust in the granite) was installed in late June, except for a small piece they forgot to fabricate and install. Home depot gift cards are a scam. Someone gave me a home depot gift card. It didn't work at check out. Spent an hour trying to get support. Turns out, home depot gift cards don't work if you Pay with Paypal. Not that they tell you that, they just charge you in full. Huge bug in their checkout system. I don't really feel comfortable giving my credit card number to a company with a broken checkout system, and apparently, the gift card doesn't work with the only other payment option. Home Depot is a rip off, we ordered Appliances for a new home and they scheduled a delivery date and did not deliver. They use sub standard delivery companies which have no idea of what they are doing. They give a time and date and then never show. They should have the common courtesy and call the consumer and let them know what is going on.

I tried to order furnace filters online but the checkout tab didn't work. Then I ordered by phone and when I checked the confirmation e-mail they had the wrong size. Then I spoke to customer service and first the representative told me that item was not available for home delivery. I told him I'd seen it was available on the web site. Then he found it. What a lousy experience!

I had ordered a dishwasher 3 weeks ago and had it scheduled to be delivered today between 7:00-11:00, took the day off and had an electrician scheduled to arrive this afternoon to install it. At 2:30 I got a voicemail letting me know they rescheduled the delivery for 10 days later! Now I am trying to call their 1-800 number and needless to say it is impossible to get hold of anyone. They sent delivery drivers and installers to my home and they damaged things. The microwave is going to fall and kill someone. They also.have not refunded me. Home Depot keeps saying, "I don't know. ".
