Tried contacting Home Depot through email, website, and text about an order I received. They sent a paint sample that leaked all over the packaging. When I got no reply, I filed a PayPal case. Home Depot now wants me to return it on my dime instead of just sending a replacement or issuing a refund. It's so petty.
This is the Worst I have ever been.. I purchased my flooring Home Depot is and I have been having problems have it delivered. First I have call numerous of time to customer service, they said I have to contact their freight company in order for me to find out when my order was going to be delivered. Purchased a refrigerator from Home Depot third week of May, 2021. I know things are slow so I understood waiting for delivery until June 23rd. On June 23 the front doors of the refrigerator was caved in so they took it back. I was told since you have been waiting it will be there July 5. July 4th I get an email that it's now July 26th. Never contacted or given a window on July 25th. Ran to the store real quick in the morning and right back. Of course in that 15 minutes I missed them. BEYOND TERRIBLE ON APPLIANCES, DELIVERY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE TO CORRECT PROBLEMS! I bought a clothes dryer and the quickest I could get it was a week and a half. That's a long time when dirty laundry is piling up. HOME DEPOT uses a contracted delivery service and after my initial wait and sitting home all day on Friday waiting for the delivery, at around 4:00pm they call to say that their delivery truck has broken down and they will not be delivering my dryer. Purchased washer online July 7. Supposed to be delivered July 16 but warehouse couldnt find it to put on truck. I canceled order July 16 and was told 7-10 business days for refund due to need for permission and refund from Ssmsung before Home Depot would pay me. Yesterday Jiuly 30 was 10 business days, no $800. I have no washer and no money to buy one.
I am presently dealing with Home Depot after making a purchase on June 29th. They have taken my money, but have yet to complete the transaction which includes the installation of all three appliances. My property was damaged on July 13th. (It has been repaired) However, I still have a stove and an OTR microwave sitting in the middle of my kitchen floor waiting to be installed. They apparently feel they're so big they don't have to give good service.
I purchased an appliance at HD and scheduled a delivery date. A day prior to delivery, HD provided a delivery time window (1 pm to 5 pm). I was home during that window, but the delivery company never arrived. I called to ask about the status of my delivery, and I was told, "you were not home." This was not true; I was home during the delivery window and did not receive a call during that window. I ordered a refrigerator that was postponed once due to a back order. The new day of delivery comes around and the delivery people wait until the very end of their delivery window to call me and say they can't deliver the refrigerator. I called to cancel my order and the representative said they couldn't deliver it because I wasn't home to receive it....
