DO NOT BUY APPLIANCES FROM HOME DEPOT. I don't know how this business is still A-. I ordered a full set of appliances. They brought a scratched dishwasher and a dented refrigerator. They partially installed the dishwasher (not connecting the water lines and not mounting it to cabinet) claiming my plumbing is not right. I call them to replace both dishwasher and refrigerator. Never even received product I paid for!! . Three days after it was supposed to arrive I called to see what was up for them to tell me they weren't even sure they had the desk! I work from home and have been sitting in the floor to work for the past week, expecting my desk to at some point to arrive- it never does so I ask for a refund and they couldn't even do that! You'd think I'd ordered the thing from Craigslist with the customer service I received. Should've gone to Lowes!!!
I made a HD online purchase of a microwave and stove on 6/23/21. Was suppose to be delivered 7/7/21. Was never delivered and no HD employee reached out to me. After a lot of phone calls they said it was lost on the dock. HD said they'd order new appliances and the delivery date would now be 7/20/21. Of course nothing was delivered and no one from HD reached out to me again. On April 19, 2021 I purchased a brand new washer and dryer (Samsung) along with necessary components from Home Depot. The Home Depot processed the whole purchasing including delivery and installation on the same day. Primarily, they took about more than a month for the schedule to install those machines on May 19th 2021. I can't get anyone at Home Depot to listen to me, so here goes. It took four different attempts to get my microwave installed and now the delivery team is calling me to say they are delivering another microwave tomorrow, which I did not order. It takes a ten minutes hold to get through to the delivery team which is Forward Final Mile in NC. I called Home Depot and they were not helpful. Do not buy appliances from Home Depot!
I recently bought a LG Washer Dryer from HomeDepot.com. It was delivered Aug 4, 2021. When my contractor came to install it (Aug 10), we realized it was an Electric Dryer and we needed a Gas one. I called Customer Care to request an exchange but unfortunately, there are long lead times on purchases/exchanges. I ended up requesting a return instead. I bought an appliance. Had a delivery date and window. They called and said they were almost there. Never showed. I called and was told that they called and told me they couldn't deliver because my road was too slippery (live on a dirt road, no snow I live in the south.) If I could give Home Depot zero stars, I would. I ordered a dishwasher including delivery and installation. After 3 months of the installation company cancelling and rescheduling the install, when they finally came to install they unboxed the dishwasher (that had been left boxed in my kitchen for 2 months after they delivered it but couldn't install it because they didn't have the right hose) it was dented and they refused to do anything about it because it had passed the 48 hour post delivery period. I've had nothing but great experiences with Home Depot. Friendly service and great products, especially the Ryobi cordless tools.
