Horrible Experience! We placed an order online through Home Depot, and it was not handled well. We were delivered the wrong size bed and only one of the two boxes. When Home Depot was contacted about this, they told us WE would have to repackage the item and return to a store. Benefit of the doubt, we returned and replaced the order hoping that South Shore and Home Depot would come through. They did NOT. Ordered a fridge on June 7th. They came and said that I needed a different valve for the refrigerator to work, so I told them to cancel the order and they left with the fridge. Didn't hear anything from them about the cancellation. Never received my refund for the fridge. Called them 5 different times, and they keep telling me there is always a new problem as to why I haven't received my refund. It is now August 4th AND STILL NO REFUND. TWO MONTHS WITH NO REFUND?! Never order windows or doors through Home Depot. In February, three different employees of Home Depot came to our home to measure for a window and door job. Everything appeared fine, we were assured that they did installs in this area all the time. No foreseeable issues. Signed the contract and paid 25% down. Several weeks later windows and doors arrived. I will NEVER shop at Home Depot again !! The whole experience of purchasing flooring from start to finish was a nightmare !!! We went into Meridian Store # 1804 on Memorial Day, picked out flooring from the manager in that dept. He told us one price, then when we went to order it, the price was much more per/ sq. ft. I spent 2500 dollars on 90 bundles of shingles but when they delivered then they was the wrong color,I called had them pick them back up and I went to the store in New Smyrna Beach Florida to get a refund but on arrival they told me since I paid with a debit card I would have to get a check mailed to me but if it was a credit card they could refund that amount in store witch makes no since,now I have to wait for my money to come threw the mail in a check witch I had a receipt and order papers and proper ID with the same debi... read more

I purchased an under the counter ice maker. It was delivered with dents in the front. The installer said it what been installed before. There was a connection tube cut off the back. Once connected it didn't work. They sent out a repair man, for our brand new Whirlpool icemaker. Found it needed two pumps and two control panels and a door. I asked for a new icemaker and they refused. Both Home Depo and Whirlpool. I ordered the first of May and it is now the first of August. Horrible experience using THD services to replace my windows at my house. It was recommended to me as trusted and care after customer company, however, they don't care nor want to hear anything. They use 3rd party subs that authorized to do work in houses and they vouch for them as they best in their business. Well, I have experienced the worst customer service with installation of the company that cant even admit their fault. I have been a loyal customer of Home Depot since 2011, a century. And I have never missed or was late with any of my payments, in fact I managed to pay my bill off in full during the time of a worldwide pandemic. However, a pandemic crisis in which families can barely feed or take care of their families and in some cases bury a family member as the result of the pandemic does not mean anything to Home Depot. HORRIBLE delivery and installation. 3 attempts to get a delivery and installation and they still cannot get the job done. 3 days off work waiting for their failed attempts. Take my advice: do not have anything delivered or installed.
