I made an appointment at HD for my Kitchen at 90th street and Shea Blvd. store in Scottsdale AZ. After asking me questions what I need (Sam) salesman I told him that I need to purchase the cabinets and have my own installer. After he found out I will not go with their installer he told me I need to pay $129 to HD to send someone to measure my kitchen for him to draw the cabinets or my installer to give them the measurements. Took the day off to receive delivery of my new freezer. Delivery driver decided he didn't have to deliver it because I live in a rural location and our road and driveway are dirt. He didn't call to let us know there was a problem. Just left me sitting there all day waiting till I finally got the email that he decided to not try reaching us. Amazingly FedEx, UPS, Amazon, Target, Walmart, American Furniture Warehouse, the trash company, the USPS, and Lowes have all managed to deliver to us just fine. This review is for Home Depot.com customer service (not the local store). I purchased a bathroom vanity during a two week online sale. After the discount it ended up being $842.53. It arrived at the store last week and I picked it up Sunday. When we got it home the top of the vanity was cracked and the bottom shelf was broke in half. I called immediately. Veterans discount they say, but at check out they tell me this item doesn't qualify. A microwave oven. I go to Lowes and they will honor on anything in the store. I will never spend another dime in HD. Oh yeah, took 20 minutes to get someone to get item out of rack. Very poor customer service.
This has been the worst online experience of my life! August 2nd I purchased a coffee table set which arrived on time, BUT... I received a defective set which I had to carry up three flights of stairs. The corner of the coffee table came broken, wrong color of marble top, at worst part of it all the wood between coffee table and end tables are different color shade. Ordered a grill with them on july 21st 2021, its not august 10 2021, they dont know where it is, when i called them they told me the order was canceld and they dont know why. no one called me or gave me a refund. this is the most disgusting company you could ever uses. please avoid. !!!!!!!!!!! this company needs to go out of business
We are very disappointed that The Home Depot does not honor our Veterans by giving them a discount on their purchases. Lowe's honors our men and women who serve and protect this country by giving them a 10% discount on all purchases with proper identification. Shame on you Home Depot. WEB, USMC
Order 6 appliances from Home Depot Online and have had several issues. The installers did not properly install our refriderator and or microwave - damaged both in the process and caused damage to our new home. In addition, our washer and dryer purchased met all specifications per the Home Depot website for the space and upon delivery learned Home Depot did not provide the proper kits for installation and would not fit. Im seeing a lot of reviews of missed delivery and claims from homedepot that the receiver was not at home. Is this how you handle your business? If your delivery team don't have enough manpower then why bother scheduling ? On top of that, false claiming about making it to delivery address and failed to contact the buyer is absolutely unethical. I faced the same problem today.
