During the Pandemic, I ordered appliances from Home Depot at 0% interest for 24 months. I still owed @$1500 when my 24 month period was up. They sent me a bill for @$1600 in INTEREST when my 24 month 0% interest period was up raising my bill from @$1500 to over $3200. While I ended up paying the bill off completely, less the Loan Shark charge of @$1600, this kind of LOAN SHARKING needs to be stopped.

Made a large purchase of a riding lawnmower, a weed eater, hedge trimmer and a cover for the lawnmower. It was one purchase - the items were not purchased separately. Our bank called to verify that we made the purchase and we verified it. They delivered the lawnmower next day without incident. They were supposed to deliver the other stuff the following day on Saturday and nothing --no notice of delay or anything. Didn't deliver on Sunday. I went to home depot to get some wire shelves, and have them cut to length. I went around the first home depot asking and the few employees I could find but they kept directing me to random desks or saying "we don't do that." I went to another home depot and found an employee in the shelving section who was happy to help. I didn't know which wire shelves/brackets/rails were needed but he selected them, took my measurements, and cut them on the spot. We had Home Depot complete 2 projects for us, a kitchen remodel and installing new windows. They outsourced their work and just kept sending another incompetent person when they messed up which prolonged the time line of the project. For the kitchen, they drilled holes that were too big to hold the shelves, so the hardware kept falling out and the shelf would fall as well. Recently, our sink fell out the bottom. I ordered kitchen cabinets. 5 cabinets out of 20 cabinets were damaged or wrong doors. I started installing cabinets and ordered granite counter top to install for next week. Lost tons of money due to damaged cabinets. Home Depot says I have to bring damaged cabinets to the store and then order new ones. It will take 2 to three weeks to get it. Some are base cabinets. went to the home depo in ********* **. to buy electrical material and they had no 1/2 emt on the shelf and no one would get me any Outback.. that's like going to the grocery store to get milk and no one to restock it. Drove 17 miles to the store one way.

I purchased a Frigidaire dishwasher on line through Home Depot on May 18, 2023.When installed control panel was defective..Have spent numerous hours on the phone with customer ********************** for both Home Depot and Frigidaire.The only option offered is to replace the defective unit..I cannot send it back..I cannot personally return it..and absolutely no credit..***************************

I do not recommend buying any appliances for delivery from the Home Depot. On July 4th, I purchased an ** w/d set after looking at them in another box retailer. I chose Home Depot due to earliest available delivery date. I have a family of 6 and my last set bit the dust so it was important that we get them up and running quickly. On 7/05/2023, I placed an online order for a plate compactor. The estimated delivery time was 7/10/2023. I then received an updated arrival time of 7/12/2023 from the shipping company. On 7/14/2023, the package had not even been shipped and called customer **********************. I was informed that they would have to reorder the item.
