Extraordinarily poor customer service from the appliance department at the Salem, MA location. We ordered a washer and dryer on July 3. The washer was available immediately and the dryer was on backorder. We scheduled a delivery for the washer the following Saturday. When the delivery crew got there they told me valve on the water source was too rusted for them to remove the old washer and install the new one and that I needed to call a plumber to have the valve replaced. Very unhappy customer. We bought a new washer and dryer from homedepot. We were told that installation was a part of our purchase. Last Saturday when they were delivered, the gentleman that was there said he didn't have the right hose to hook up the dryer. He told us someone would contact us later to set up another installation appointment. No one ever called. They are the WORST! Do not use them for any type of flooring. Their contractor abandoned me mid-project, leaving my entire condo with concrete floors, and told me I was on my own to fix the mess. I was able to return the flooring to Home Depot, but they charged me a 10% restocking fee. It wasn't my fault their contractor was incompetent. I would have used the flooring if it had been installed, of course. I should not be charged for their contractor's negligence and ineptitude.

Extremely unhappy with Home Depot. Ordered a toilet from them online for store pickup. In the store the box of the toilet was smashed on one end and taped. When undoing the tape one end of the box had staples in it but the box was already opened hence the tape. The toilet had large chips in it and purple pvc primer in the bowl. Home Depot has stunningly bad customer service. I ordered an item on August 5, 2021. I was told that it shipped the next day but would take up to a month to be delivered in New York. The tracking information was never updated, but Home Depot insisted in multiple conversations, which they later denied happened, that I could rely upon the item arriving within a month. It did not arrive. So, I had to place the order again and wait another month. No explanation. No apologies.
