My experience with Home Depot was disappointing. Another huge company that doesn't care about customers. I ordered (and paid for) a dryer and microwave, to be delivered. I received the call from the delivery driver, saying they would be at my house in roughly 15 minutes. Over an hour later, with no delivery, I called the delivery driver back. I purchased a garage door from Home Depot in Ukiah, CA on May 25, 2021. The description of the door: Clopay Classic Steel DIY. 8 ft by 7 ft, Short Panel. The price: $320.45. A complete kit, springs included. Fortunately, in retrospect, I did not hire Home Depot to install the door; Instead, I consulted with local carpenters and ultimately, with garage door installers. Ordered a $900 washing machine from Home Depot in Wake Forest NC. It was delivered and the set up guys busted the wall behind the washer and also tore a hole in the drain tube. They turned on washer and left and the washer drained all the water all over the floor flooding the laundry room. The washer did not work from day one and Home Depot and Maytag refused to take responsibility and replace washer. 4 weeks later and still no working washing machine. I honestly believe this company doesn't respect their customers. I ordered on July 30th. I was supposed to receive a dishwasher at the end of August. I didn't and their exuse was our system didn't kick it over to the delivery company. So i reschedule for almost a month away on the 22nd of September. We were given the 13th spot and our delivery time was between 4:30-8:30. I didn't recieve a phone call and they never showed. Really?

I bought a 3 year warranty for my refrigerator. Which both Home Depot and Asurion the warranty company were aware of. My warranty was in the system and I had my refrigerator fixed twice under this warranty. They were unable to get a worker to fix my refrigerator or come to the house. I asked that they replace the refrigerator. They wanted a receipt which they clearly had. It took time to find the receipt but the warranty company had it and we were in the system. I bought all new kitchen appliances from Home Depot that were installed the first week of August. About a week later, my bedroom floor that shares a wall with the kitchen was flooded and upon investigation, it was found that the water connection from the waterline to the fridge was leaking. It flooded my room and carpet, and the crawlspace. I reported the issue to Home Depot who logged an issue with a company called Sedgewick for a claim. I scheduled a washer/dryer delivery and installation. I did not receive a call the day scheduled so called about 3 pm to ask about my delivery. It took multiple phone calls and long hold times to even get through to someone. Then they couldn't give me an answer on whether delivery was even attempted, but said they needed to reschedule to the next day. I told them I required an early delivery. They feel like holding your payment for 10 to 12 days and not post it to your account until they want to. It had cleared the bank for 13 days. so make sure you are getting credit for your money. They held mine for no reason for 12 days and therefore I could not use my card at all. She couldn't even explain why this is happening. Just that sometimes they do this for some stupid reason. We contracted with Home Depot for replacement windows and installation may 28 ,2021. They said would be done by July 23rd. We received notice they would not be on the 23rd and would have to reschedule. That has happened several times. Each time they extended the installation date. We still do not have our windows . They say will now be done on September 27 unless there is a change. We thought Home Depot was a safe place to do business even though the price was Definitely higher than you would expect .
