Home Depots warranty program as far as Im concerned is straight fraudulent. I bought a washer a year ago and I purchased the 5 year warranty for it. I have now been without my washer for two months. Their service department consistently makes excuses and gives me the run around as to why it has not yet been repaired. Meanwhile I have to pay someone to take my laundry to have it done elsewhere. I ordered online. The shipment never arrived. Home Depot recommended filing a complaint with ****** but to do that required an address and zip code which Home Depot was unwilling to give me. The order was backordered (with no indication on the website), never showed up, and their customer ********************** was unwilling to help get the problem resolved.
Do NOT order items from Home Depot to be shipped to you!!I ordered a $10 part that was not available in the store. I received an email stating the package was delivered. I contacted Home Depot to report the item had not actually been delivered. First they told me to walk around my neighborhood and check my neighbor's porches in case the package was delivered to the wrong house. Ordered a fridge from this Home Depot on February ******************************************************** March. I got a call from ******* saying the fridge has been discontinued for a good length of time. The Home Depot kept saying reschedule the delivery date. I called the store and they pretty much told me they cannot help me and acted as if it was my fault in buying a discontinued fridge. Ordered vinyl planking from Home Depot to be installed in my kitchen & hallway. There was a dent in 1 of the boards, they glued 2 thresholds to carpet with ********* ****** didnt spread the pattern out. Wanted to order washer. If you do it online you have to have an account or order from one of their ********* get an account you have to agree to several terms including unwanted solicitations and possibly them giving your information to 3rd parties. I didn't want to that so I order through their chat functionality. Their rep ordered the wrong washer. Horrible service! Ordered my product in which it still hasn't arrived over a month ! Cannot mange to get any help at all on refunds. Thieves I'll NEVER use them again! Use a reputable shipping company Reddaway is as bad as you!
