I purchased a G&E refrigerator online from Home Depot in January 2022, and waited two months for it to be delivered due to nationwide shipping issues. I had the refrigerator for one week and it stopped working, both the refrigerator and the freezer. Note this is not one of the refrigerators that has been recalled. I am thoroughly disgusted with my over $1300 order from Home depot. My evergreen plants arrived dry as a bone with leaves falling off every plant as we opened the boxes. The nooses around the bases of the plants was unnecessary, They had been on the road for 3 days and had not been watered prior to shipment. ! and 2 gallon pots do not go dry that fast. I will NEVER buy from Home Depot Online again. If the Better Business Bureau allows Home Depot to be a MEMBER, they are money grubbers,
My complaint is against Home depot.com. Not the store.This online division is worthless. The latest fiasco came about today regarding a dresser that we ordered 4.14.22. It was supposed to be delivered within the week but bounced all over the country once coming within 50 miles of our house before scooting off **** miles away. Finally the texted last night that it would be here Monday 5.9.22. This complaint is not against Home Depot but the delivery company GE Delivery that Home Depot uses to delivery their major appliances, on April 16 I purchased an ****** Dryer from Home Depot. I was informed that the dryer would be delivered on April 22. I was contacted on April 21 and informed that the delivery had to be rescheduled. I selected April 30. If you pick up in store - great - if you are buying an appliance for home delivery - go some place else - I am on third delivery date for a refrigerator. They dont have their act together and they contract out to third parties that do not care.
You would think an online purchase would be a fairly simple process. You pay your money and your product arrives. Not the case with Home Depot and it appears that their contracting with other companies for delivery and pickup is the source of the problem.Purchased a tub online. Received it as requested. I just hate Home Depot big time liars and customer ********************** online is junk the people who work there are home taking care of their kids and dogs cats instead of doing their job. some are in a hurry or maybe drunk. Home depot should close horrible especially on delivery commitment.
