We ordered a Frigidaire brand dishwasher 3 weeks ago. The first dishwasher was damaged. Rejected. A week later the second dishwasher was damaged as well. Rejected. The 3rd dishwasher was not even taken out of the box due to the fact that the 3rd party delivery and installation crew were against installing a unit without proper voltage/separate breaker. I will not be doing any type of business with home Depot anymore my last 4 orders have been wrong and now they told me to drive a hour out of my way to return what they sent me wrong and gas prices are too high to be wasting my time and or my money when I paid extra for delivery and I paid more for a faster delivery and it was wrong and the guy I spoke to from the ** was no help and was like that's your problem I will not be given any more of my money to home Depot I'll start going to Lowes
On Sunday I ordered lumber to replace rotten boards on my dock. The internet said it would be delivered on Tuesday. I tore the boards up on Monday expecting delivery the next day. After wasting a whole day waiting for the delivery I get a call at 6:30 pm that they are not coming and asked to deliver it on Thursday. Not happy but I said yes. Hardwoods and sheetrock ruined. Home Depot is not responding.I purchased a refrigerator that was delivered by Home Depot late May. A week later my hardwood floors were ruined. I called Home Depot the day I noticed (I was out of town previously). Ordered Appliances 10 days ago with a specific date delivery. Less than 24 hours ( 8 pm at night) got an automated message saying my order is delayed. Went to store this morning manager told that truck was on fire. Called customer ********************** no help! escalated to higher level . It seems Home depot has truly hit rock bottom, contacting the *** of the company and him just forwarding my email to an escalations **** seems a bit informal. ***** from the escalations department is not able to get a hold of the warehouse ****. Bought a new microwave from Home Depot and had installation and pickup scheduled. when the installers arrived the told me that they could not install the microwave because there was tile under the microwave. I had paid for delivery, installation, and removal of the old microwave. The old microwave was installed by Home Depot three years ago with no issues with tile. the tile was not behind the microwave but below it on the wall. the installer was contract labor.
Placed a small order on Home Depot online. I am not sure why, but the item was shipped via NSD. Tracking the item, it came to my zip code area, then went back to *******. After several attempts, I finally get in touch with HD. They said I needed to contact NSD to schedule my order delivery. Just horrible customer **********************. I can see they are headed down the same path as ****** Ordered a sink on May 9th. Told it we be delivered on May 24th. Several calls with no one that knows anything. Some can barely speak English. They blow you off so they don't have to do anything. Supervisors unavailable, so you get some schlep working in a warehouse that knows nothing. Also, after waiting hung up on. They promise a return call. It never happens.
