This review is about the *********, ** Home Depot store. This occurred on 6/26 between 12 noon and 1 pm. I stood at the tool rental desk for over an hour with my kid while these two employees working at this location (one employee was a Caucasian woman named *******. The other was an African American male without a name tag). Everything began cordially while they attempted to figure out the computer systems. I placed an order online for a storm door. I picked up the door in The *********, ** store. I asked the sales clerk AND the department specialist if I had the correct item. They both assured me that I did. When I got home I discovered the item was incorrect. I called online customer ********************** and was directed to go back to the store for a $150 refund. We ordered a refrigerator which was delivered on time, but the door was damaged upon delivery. Home Depot was very easy to work with in getting a replacement sent out, although we did have to wait 2 weeks. The 2nd fridge was delivered and upon delivery seemed to be in good shape, until we took off the packaging. There were 2 cracks, exposed wires, most of the shelves were scratched, there was dust and hair inside (yes,hair!). Provided info that an egg chair was shipped to arrive June 20th. Charged my ***************** deliveryno movement. Chair now out of stock.Lied to about the shipment.clearly provided false info to charge my credit card.Never provided an update..I had to contact Home Depot.

i ordered ** washer dryer set. washer came damaged. customer ********************** wrote up a separate order. dryer needed removed with the damaged washer. instead. company left it here in the middle of my laundry room. not even connected or set up. they came with new washer. also damaged. then set up another washer to deliver... had wrong zip code plugged in from customer **********************. i asked that they take the dryer back since the washer was damaged. instead. company left it here. I bought a refrigerator from Home Depot. Before I bought the fridge, I asked the appliance sales person about what I would need to do if the doors needed to be reversed when the unit was delivered. The sales person assured my wife and I that the people who delivered the fridge would reverse the doors if they needed to be and there would be no charge.Flash forward to delivery day, the fridge doors as it turned out needed to be reversed. I ordered a refrigerator on line with Home Depot and the damage my engineered hardwood floor. I called Home Depot to file a damage claim on 7 May 2022. They assured me that their insurance company Sedgwick will contact me in two days and if they didn't, I should contact them. No one contacted me from Sedgwick and when I called them, they didn't have any claim. Home Depot in ****** ** has rude associates. If you call to complain about what I am about to explain and youre rightfully upset, they hang up in you. What happened today was that the company that delivers appliances for them are liars! The delivery people left a hang tag on the front door claiming they knocked on our door and rang the **** for 15 minutes. Several people were waiting in the living room by the door and heard nothing. I ordered a washer and dryer for our new home weeks ago. I paid for delivery, parts, and the installation was supposed to be free. The day before the first scheduled installation they pushed the date out nearly 2 weeks. They finally delivered today before 8 am which is a bit unreasonable for a delivery time. On top of that I was informed that the website displays an inaccuracy and in the *********** they cannot install gas appliances and we need a plumber to do so.
