Desired Results- great treatment plan!
I had surgery yesterday to repair rotator cuff and remove bone spurs at their surgery center. I chose Dr. Smalley after reading his reviews and also discussed with a Physical therapist where I lived and He told me He treated several of Dr. Smalley’s patients and that they all had successful surgery and recovery. Dr. Smalley also is very attentive to all your questions. Looking forward to therapy and getting back to being more active. Roger M.LaFayette Ga.
From the time I arrived and signed in, it was probably 10 minutes or less until I met with Dr. Smalley (this included meeting with the nurse and updating my information). This was a second visit and Dr. Smalley went over my previous visit and explained my options to me regarding my knee. He also answered all my questions and made sure I understood my options. He was never in a rush. I would definitely recommend Dr. Smalley if you have any orthopedic issues.
I am a 66 yo retired Firefighter that has had plenty of orthopedic injuries throughout my career. I felt as if I was relegated to live a life of chronic pain post retirement. A visit to Dr Smalley to treat my shoulders and knees for chronic pain had me back to my old life of activity and fitness in short order. Thank you Dr Smalley for helping me get back to the life I dreamed of in retirement!
Maybe shorter time in between visits.
Dr. Smalley reviewed the MRI for my shoulder and was very detailed in explaining my issues and going over a plan of action which includes surgery and rehab. I know others that have had successful shoulder surgery with Dr. Smalley so I look forward to the surgery and getting rid of the pain.
Dr Smalley is very skilled and knowledgeable. He takes time to answer your questions and concerns. He understands how you feel and what you must feel with your pain as per knowing how the body works and reacts to the types of injures and treatment needed to help you. I just love him . He is a great surgeon I had 2 surgeries with him previously, this visit I got injections. A treatment plan for the present and one down the road if needed
Dr Smalley showed me my shoulder x-ray and pointed out the arthritis, bone spur and lack of spacing in that joint. He listened very closely to what I had to say and answered all my questions. I have a nickel allergy and he reassured me saying they have an all-titanium prosthesis they can use to replace my shoulder joint. I am planning on proceeding with this in the future.
