We purchased a brand-new washer and dryer from Lowes which they delivered in November 2021, so we haven't even owned the washer and dryer set for over 60 days. Well today we called them and told them about the fire that almost started with our dryer (in the electrical panel) and transferred to our wash machine which caused burn marks on the side of the washer and burn marks on the dryer with a burn whole in it. I bought a in wall electric heater in mid September. It was installed in mid October. Luckily instead of burning my house down the electrical breaker kicked off. The inside was so hot it melted components in the heater. I have called the local Lowes they sent me to the manufacturer. The manufacturer sent me back to Lowes they do not do refunds only replacements. I called Lowes and they sent me on to headquarters. Purchased stove and dishwasher from *******, ** store. I struggled with the Whirlpool dishwasher as I tried to install it and there was a water supply tube damaged, basically creased and wouldn't allow water through. Regardless, typical answer from store was to contact a number for warranty claim and I should have part in 2-3 days. I ordered 2 pantry doors from the Lowes in ******************, ** in early July. There have been problems with my order since the beginning. I have made multiple phone calls and visited Lowes on many occasions. Associates are clueless about my order every time I asked about it. Finally got one door delivered in November and they were not sure why the second door did not arrive. Always using the excuse that it is a computer glitch. Finally received. I ordered a furnace on 12/11. Delivery was supposed to be 12/23. No one bothered to contact me and tell me the order was cancelled until 12/29/2021. Now they say they cant give my money back until after 1/4/2022. I have no heat, no furnace and now no money. BEWARE OF LOWES!!
My clothes dryer finally stopped working for good on Sunday morning, Dec. 26, 2021, so I went to a few stores to look for a new one. Then I researched online. On Monday, Dec. 27, 2021, I ordered AND paid for a new dryer from Lowe's, to be delivered Tuesday morning, Dec. 28, 2021, between 8:00 am and noon. Tuesday morning: no text, no phone calls, no delivery updates. I called Lowe's and called XPO, their delivery company, numerous times. My first call was made to Lowes oct 30 and scheduled a measurement for nov 2. After calling **** for several days following the employee being to our house and giving no information, we had to wait for **** to calculate the measurements before getting any idea of what the work would cost or how long. Purchased everything I needed to reroof my house had company linedup to do project. Delivery arrives on time but with only half of the ***** corning shingles ?I Purchased and paid for all the shingles job required looks like someone at Lowes sold my shingles it gets better called customer service they wont be able to get anymore shingles for months you cant shingle half a roof. Lowes dont save your orders and receipts in their system, when you purchase major appliances. I called Lowes today and they said their system is bad with saving orders and receipts, so its good to save them. I ordered a refrigerator with the appraisal warranty and they did not save the information in the system. I purchased a washer and dryer, a range, a microwave and a dishwasher and the information was not saved.
