Went to Lowes in ***** to purchase replacement windows and garage door for my home late November 2021. Inquired on Pella brand and the window and doors guy said it would be mid January before we could get them. Meanwhile someone came and measured and the quote was 13k. But the Lowes windows would only be around 8k same exact windows without the Pella name. Lowes wanted their money upfront for the windows and labor. The new outsourced delivery service isn't going to work I'm in ******** getting phone calls from ********** when you call the local store they are just as confused
I went to buy a headlamp they had advertised on line for In store pickup only for $3.73 in ******. Normally priced at $29. I asked orange city lowes to honor their online price and they refused. I was on the phone with corporate for over an hour. They refused to use their price match policy and refused to give me the price they their self had advertised. Bought a snowblower from lowes phillipsburg. 3rd one never used and leaking oil. Lowes store nor customer service will do anything because I didnt purchase extra coverage. 4 months old. First 2 had different problems. Now I have to pay $85 to pick up.
Stay away from these installers. They DO NOT deserve to hold contractor licenses. While doing my kitchen backsplash they covered nothing and left scratches on my countertop, sat at my new dining table ( on a break I suppose) and cracked the table and the backsplash looks like a child put it up. The grout has gaps and grout covers the actual tile in spots. Its extremely sloppy and looks horrendous. Very unprofessional service. I will never recommend them to anyone

Follow up three weeks later: constant communication and time stamps with Lowes and Premier Installation. The installers called in sick the day they were supposed to fix the backsplash problems. Another guy came the next day and did his best to fix the sloppy work. Its better but still unprofessional looking. Constant back and forth stating my dissatisfaction with this installation resulting in lack of follow up and being too busy. My neighbors used Lowes to install a fence. During the installation, their crew destroyed my sprinkler system, which led to the demise of many of the plants in my yard. I wrote Lowes, about the issues, but my requests for help were completely ignored. If you choose to buy a fence from Lowes, warn your neighbors. Because, they might be forced to foot the **** for Lowes' mistakes.
I ordered 6 Pela windows from Lowe's, several months ago. They scheduled the install. Yesterday the installers arrived and the windows were 1/2 inch to tall and 1 inch to narrow. I called several times for someone at Lowes to call me or come out and see the windows, I could not get anyone to call me back from Lowes. To make the windows work the installers had to go buy one by and put in the window frame and chisel out the bottom frame. I had a consultant come out to my property for an estimate on a roof July 2021. I called the consultant PR in 12/21 and said I am ready to move forward with getting the roof replaced. I informed PR that if there were extra materials left over that I wanted them to be left on the property. He informed that I could do that or get a refund for the materials not used. Lowes and its Kitchen Contractor, CME Corp, are a complete joke. No communication, no follow-through, and unprofessional behavior throughout my uncompleted cabinet install. I signed a contract and agreed to pay upfront for all services with the Lowes guarantee of the work being completed by licensed contractors, but CME Corp uses unlicensed, undocumented workers to finish projects.
