I purchased a ge washing machine on April 11th for delivery the week of the 18th. I was given short notice the delivery would be on Friday April 15 with no way of rescheduling. Two delivery men showed up (unmarked, no names) around 11am. They were rude and said it would only take a minute. I said why, arent you installing? One man said no abs I asked why. Some of their home delivery is done by Retail Direct, a low-cost third-party delivery company. When my delivery didn't show up between 8AM and 8PM a call to Lowes directed me to Retail Direct. Retail direct claims they never received the order and wanted me to deal with Lowes. I told them they are responsible, as well as Lowes, and I don't need to bounce between them. They need be truthful on their return policy. I bought a dremel ultra saw on feb 20th. Used it twice and tried to exchange it the first week of April (with the receipt). Their policy says 90 days everywhere you read it. Nope 30 days. All I am told is "sorry we can't help you". So I have $150 paper weight.... thanks lowes
Lowes installed raggedy pine fence pickets on my house. Very low quality service. Please do not use Lowes for your fencing needs. This was the biggest mistake of my life.
Purchased a GE Gas range from Lowes and had them installation. Had a gas leak and had the *********** check for a gas leak and found it was coming from the gas line at the back of the range. *********** turned off gas and indicated leak at line at back of rangeat installation. After a call to Lowes and 4 referral numbers at Lowes. Called the Store Manager at the Lowes **** who gave me another number. Called the number and it was GE. Lowes website promises same-day installation on hot water heaters if you order before noon. My husband spent probably 45 minutes on the phone trying to get someone to talk to him. Fortunately, he was able to get someone before noon then was told they would TRY to get the hot water heater to us by Monday or Tuesday NEXT WEEK. False advertising. Do not expect to get same-day installation.
Took a 2 was, to get a range, delivery came but there were issues, the range top wouldn't go down, left uleveled, remember you only have a 48 hour window, called GE, replaced range another 2 weeks, finally got the range, all is well. The worst was trying to purchase a faucet and sink, price for both ******, was quoted ****** installation fee, that's when they lost me.Customer service at ******,, ******* store is nil. My elderly grandparents have a warranty on a refrigerator purchased 8 months ago. The ice maker leaks and is causing issues with their floor and is a fall hazard for them due to the water. Theyve had multiple service visits - the final one noting there was no fix for it. Currently waiting on hold (been an hour and a half) for a resolution. Dont waste your time or money. Go elsewhere.
Worst customer service the only thing the people know is Hold Please. For 3 days I call the location and main office in Mooresvillle I had spent 11 hours on hold.
