My husband and I went into Lowes in Columbia, **. We talked to the cabinet person and he did a wonderful job of helping us. We ordered some cabinets etc. Since we didn't have our Lowes Credit Card he explained how we could get a temporary card to use and receive up to 15% off our purchase. We go about getting other stuff we needed and stand in line at the lumber section to be checked out. They were having computer issues. No big deal we understand that. Lowes has the worst extended warranty program I have ever experienced.. I have been trying to get a reimbursement for a $400 window unit since April 2022. It is 100 degrees in ******* and they have been giving me the runaround.. I was told several times that I would receive a full reimbursement for my product.. Now they want to send a technician out which is going to take another 2weeks to receive a reimbursement. This is a horrible process. Terrible customer service. Atrocious customer service. I ordered an item online, it came late and damaged. When I sought a replacement, I was told not only would they not send a replacement--they also would not send a prepaid return label and expected me to fit a huge item in my vehicle to return it. This is not logistically possible. Cannot believe how far Lowes has fallen in service, but somehow they still manage to expand their products to freaking t-shirts and home goods. I ordered a washer for $850, the price on the item dropped to $730 2 days later, I called in and they said their policy for price adjustment have changed, and told me they can't refund the difference, told me if I want I can return the item, meaning having to haul the thing back to the store and rebuy or something, such terrible company.

I have been tormented by Lowes and Thermatru Doors for over one year. I ordered a front entry door in May 2021 and it was installed late Oct 21 and the door is not working properly. Lowes and ThermaTru do not accept responsibility for the door. Thermatru says its installer error and Lowes says its manifacturer error, yet no one cares that over a year later, I have an unpainted door that is almost impossible to shut. Its June 23, my birthday, my family and friends that are attending my birthday party are being greeted by an unpainted cumbersome loud door, just like they experienced on Thanksgiving, Christmas, New years , ******************** Day and now my birthday. July 4th will arrive and those guests will question that door again! Its truly an embarrassment that Lowes and Thermatru treat a customer with such disrespect.

I ordered porch furniture. Originally it was lost and when I called customer service, they basically said there was nothing they could do. They mentioned it could be lost, but they couldn't send a new set because there is a chance it is still out there. Well I guess they were right, but weeks later it showed up completely damaged. personally their return policy ***** I pay for materials with my Cash card **** debit, which i load with Cash from my Bank ,whenever you return something it takes **** business days to go back on your card and they tell me that's standard on how every one does business BS ********** will give you the option to get Cash back I'll be doing all my shopping at ********** for now on and so will everyone i know!!

I have experienced the worst level of customer service ever by a major company. I will never step foot in one of their stores again and will discourage others to do the same. I ordered a riding mower through their online platform and the problems started when the delivery was delayed without reason at least 8 times.
