RE: Extended Warranty contract for Whirlpool dryer I purchased a Whirlpool dryer from Lowes in May of 2017. At the time of purchase, I also purchased an extended warranty contract which I renewed in April 2020. I paid $152.97 for this contract. When the dryer broke in June, I tried to contact Lowes customer service on Monday, June 8th . It took over 60 minutes for a representative to come on the line. My problem is not with the stores themselves. The staff are good. I like their products better than their main competitor's, **********. The issue is at the corporate level. They do no honor their protection plans. Even staff at the store said they get many complaints that the customer can not get through on any of the numbers for customer service for their protection plans. Most people pay for these plans and never need to use them, so they already make a big profit on that, but add to that, the fact that you can't reach th... read more

NEVER EVER SHOP AT LOWES HOME IMPROVEMENT STORES!!!!! My husband and I have had the absolute worst experience and customer service we have ever encountered. My husband ordered a John Deere Zero Turn Mower from the Lawrenceville location on June 25, 2020. He received the order confirmation and a delivery date of July 1, 2020. On July 1st I went into a store to order appliances for delivery out of state. They told me I had order online and it would be delivered from a local store, so that's what I did. Two weeks later I logged in to find out that my order had been CANCELED but I was NEVER NOTIFIED. No one can tell me why but someone names "Lori" canceled it. So now, after all the July 4th Sales are over, I can re-order the item for over $600 more.

Lowes is awful. Have been trying to get kitchen cabinet install completed for FOUR MONTHS. Jennifer McDaniels was supposed to handle this mess....still incomplete. Go to home depot. Stay away from Lowes.

I went to the lowes store #734 (3900 Carpenter Rd) in Michigan for a storm door on 6/27. The associate helping me took my contact information (or so I thought), and charged me $35 dollars for the installer to come measure. I was also told that lowes would call me after they receive the measurements to finish the purchase order. The installer measured a few days later, and I did not hear from lowes. This review is for store #0491 (Albany Ga) Can't even it give them 1 star!! We just moved here and are without refrigerator, washer and dryer. Bought all from store #0491 on June 29, 2020 with the promise that they would be delivered no later than July 2, 2020. We did receive the washer and dryer (which had scratch marks on dryer door) on the 2nd but no Fridge! We are living out of coolers right now. Wow, I wish I'd read the reviews before purchase!!! There was a sale on all patio furniture and gazebos, so we went to look in store. They didn't have the items we wanted so we ordered them online after HOURS of hassle. The sales prices wouldn't reflect in the cart, spent an hour waiting, then almost an hour chatting with customer service which was ridiculous.
