I shop at a local Lowe's store frequently. Generally they have good, if not great, customer service. My review is regarding a few situations where Lowe's did not have an item in stock that was shown on their web pages. Before getting into the details, I recognize that the current health crisis presents retailers with huge challenges. Retailers that attempted to remain open during the crisis are to be applauded. LOWE'S Probable the WORST customer service I have ever dealt with!!! I ordered a dishwasher online was given a delivery date and time of a couple of weeks When it wasn't delivered I called the following day several times trying to speak with a representative and was bounced between departments with no answer from anyone I was finally informed it would take ANOTHER month to be delivered I finally spoke to a Manager and was offered an upgrade that was actually in Stock I picked it up and paid for it that day You would think th... read more

Bought a washer had it delivered and set up. Just found out that it has been leaking for 3 months now. I have black mold and my floor and wall is all messed up. They did not connect the hose properly during set up and we had no idea. Had a contractor out today to take pictures and let me know the cost of all the repairs to all the water damage to move forward with an attorney to get this all taken care of. I pray of a positive outcome.

I ordered a grill for my boyfriend for Father's Day on June 12th. Even though I'm pretty handy, I requested the free assembly. The ready by date was June 19th, but with the current state of the world, I knew it may be longer. I called on June 27th and was advised the grill would be ready on the 29th. I had not received an update so I called on July 1st. I was told the person, who gave me the June 29th date, mispoke and that the assembler would be there on the 2nd. DO NOT ORDER FROM LOWE'S RIGHT NOW! Save yourself the pain! Their website inventory is a LIE! I ordered a dishwasher and dryer online. The store (Union City, CA) said both were in stock and would arrive in 5-7 bus days. One day before the scheduled delivery they email to tell me it's delayed 2 wks. I spent 45mins trying to speak w/someone to explain. Finally did, and they were able to deliver one item 5 days later and said the second would definitely arrive in 2 wks.
