LOWE'S COMMITTED FRAUD: Went to the Easton Lowe's store on September 20th, 2020 and spent two hours with the sales associate in appliances finding a washer/dryer set that was in store, ready for delivery. The salesman went to the back, marked as sold, and set us up for delivery for Sunday, September 27th. He charged our credit card at that time for over $2000 and we have receipts with the serial numbers to those precise machines that were marked sold for delivery to us on 9/27, too! I recently bought a "fixer-upper" home in a beautiful wooded setting in rural northern Indiana to fix up and live in as my retirement sanctuary. Lowe's always tries to fix the problems but the contractors they use are horrible. I got a rug installed and the contactors tried to sell me hundreds of dollars of carpeting that I didn't need because they measured incorrectly. Then I had tile installed and the contractors told me I needed plywood to go on my cement under the tile which I didn't need (just to run my bill up again unnecessarily). We had a bathroom installed by Lowe's in Dec. 2018. Less than two months later we found that the shower threshold was cracked and we had water running onto our bathroom floor. Lowe's had the installer return to fix it. Not even a month later, the grout on the shower floor started to loosen and come up. Lowe's again sent the installer back to "fix" the problem. For the past few months have had issues getting online orders to go through. Spoke with their customer service and was told to try creating a different log in account. Shortly thereafter my account was closed simply stating recent review of my credit file. credit file is same as day they opened my account. I tried to order today for curbside pickup using my banking debit card and order was cancelled by "corporate review." My vinyl fence process started 5/20/20 with an anticipated date of commencement on 8/28/820. Utah Fence was installing, they came to measure and let me know that they would not be doing any work until September 17 because "there was such a backlog" and informed me that the store representative did not know what he was talking about when he gave me the August date. Just look at the canned response to every review and you'll know all you need to know about doing business with Lowe's. They do not care about your satisfaction. We purchased new kitchen appliances at the Boone, NC store. We chose appliances that were in stock, were made by the same manufacturer and that matched. We paid for them and then got the call two weeks later that the dishwasher was no longer in stock. I'll do this in bullet form. * Ordered flowers from Lowe's. Lowes used Service Pro Installation Group to install our carpets and flooring. First appointment they didn't call until after they were supposed to be here to let us know that one of the crew had a fever and they wouldn't be coming * next appointment was set up for Thursday and Friday. Lowes has taken my money delivered a broken refrigerator, picked it up over a month later and after 30 days still has not refunded my money. I have been hung up on by the store over 20 times and have received no updates from corporate. This is theft.
