Shopped online for a ceiling fan. Found it and purchase with a gift card and the rest on my card. After I received the confirmation to go pick it up I get to the store; sat there for 30 minutes waiting for the fan only to find out it was cancelled because they are out of stock. It didn't say cancelled on my status until I got home. Called into the store and I was hung up on. I have been a long time Lowe's customer and estimate that between my business and home improvement projects over the past 20 years I have spent hundreds of thousands of dollar at Lowe's stores in the Vancouver WA area. Two years ago I would have given Lowe's 5 stars I was so satisfied with their service and products. But in the past 3 months or so I have noticed a marked decrease in product availability as well as reduced quality in tool and product brands. Order of drop down ceiling tiles I ordered tiles online, I received notification that the order is delivered. I went to pick it up the first time, I was told it is in the back and there is bunch of stuff on top, so come back tomorrow (even though there was 30 minutes to closing) Following day I went earlier, the staff went to get the order and after about half an hour of waiting I decided to leave and come back later. Instead of encouraging quality workmanship, the project manager Luke openly complained about an independent licensed inspector being hired for our 10k Lowe's flooring install, saying his crew did not get paid until we signed the certificate of completion. After the inspector found flawed areas, the same crew came back to fix, but then they installed a chipped tile in a prominent walkway of kitchen. I shopped this Sunday at 4055 Nichols Park Dr Lexington, KY 40503, Store #0607. I was checked out by a cashier named Heather, she was a new employee and by far has been one of the kindest, most helpful employee's I've encounter. Good choice in new hire. Katherine D

Since my order was placed on 9/19, my order has been scheduled for delivery three times and then never shows up on the delivery day. From what I have been able to gather, my order was placed through the Western Hills location, but is being fulfilled by the Beechmont location. I have called both locations along with corporate and no one can give me any information regarding why my delivery hasn't shown up or when I can expect it. Customer service has always been rude - employees keep forwarding me all over the place until... read more

This is in regards to their rebates which will "only" take 6-8 weeks. This year, we bought paint on April 2 and I filled out the online rebate form. When we hadn't received anything by the first of August, I checked in with them and they said that anyone who filled out a rebate at the end of March/beginning of April would have to resubmit the rebate. I then resubmitted the rebate on August 3, dutifully counted out my 8 weeks, and then followed up using their website. It told me they were still processing it! I then received ... read more

It's difficult to sum up such an extremely frustrating experience, but I'll try my best. The initial agreement with Lowe's was that our cork flooring install would likely be completed prior to our move-in date to our new home. Instead, on move-in day, we were met with a partially completed kitchen floor due to running out of flooring, visible gold underlayment along the edges of various areas due to such jagged cuts, and two improperly installed areas that clearly needed to be redone. I wish I could leave a negative rating. DO NOT SHOP AT LOWES, WHAT A GARBAGE CUSTOMER SERVICE DEPARTMENT. I have shopped here over the years and have had nothing but problems when dealing with the customer service. Bought some items over the phone, transaction went through, my credit card has been charged. Called to see what the status of my order is, made more than a month ago, was told my cc was declined.
