Another garbage purchase online from Lowe's! Ordered STAR Water Systems Plastic Hose Item #955641Model #020123. Hose came in a plastic bag that was sliced open with only the actual hose in it. 1-1/4-in male npt x 1-1/4-in insert (barb) and 1-1/2-in male npt x 1-1/4-in insert (barb) adapters that are supposed to be included were missing! Lowe's "online chat" told me to call Lowe's. Done that before many times and basically wasted hours of my time for nothing! Totally done with Lowe's. When I purchased my home, it came with several Harbor Breeze fans. The fans are exclusive to **** *****. One had a broken light kit globe, and I saw that Lowes still sells the fan, so I called them to get a replacement globe. They said they do not sell the globe directly, and I should contact Harbor Breeze. Long story short, I now have a globe that doesn't fit my fan, no return label, and no refund. While the staff at Lowe's were friendly and seemed to want to be helpful, there was such a lack of communication the entire project was a mess and I am not happy with the part of the project that Lowe's was responsible for. We first visited the store in July, we choose the countertops and butcher block and paid for everything - $3,000+ in August. I asked for a deep farmhouse sink, which they said could not be done. I have no reason to shop at Lowes again. I'll be taking my money elsewhere. On Dec 8, 2020, I ordered kitchen cabinets from Lowes online. They were 13 pieces enough to redo my Kitchen. The delivery date was scheduled for Dec 16, 2020. A day before, someone from Lowes called and let me know that the delivery would be pushed to Dec 19, 2020, because some cabinets were still on the way. We bought a roof through Lowe's, the Lodi California store. We paid 50% through a Lowe's credit card that we opened for this specific purpose, and 50% with a personal check ($18,500). We cancelled the order within 24 hours. No goods or services were ever received and Lowe's advised that we would have a refund within three business days. It was two weeks' time before our credit card refund was processed. It took us over three weeks of us begging and pleading with the corporate office to finally get a refund check. On 9-4-2020, I went to Lowes store #2431 in Paramus, NJ, to purchase TWO exterior doors for my house. I was told that the estimated completion date would be 11/4/2020, and my door will be delivered by the end of October 2020. At the end of October, I contacted the store about the delivery of my doors. The sales representative failed to communicate that our doors were not arriving at the end of October. My experience at the Upper Moreland Lowes has been awful. The communication is terrible. All the managers say they will call you back and don't. Customer Service puts you on hold until it disconnects. My washer showed up damaged. I spoke with Bal P**** (one of the managers) to rectify the situation. He promised a delivery the next day, we sat home waiting and it never came. Apparently there was a glitch in the computer system. Then I was promised a delivery on Tuesday after 4.
