Look I know Lowes and others get a bad rap from time to time and the Benton Harbor, MI location is no different but I have something kind to say. My wife works for whirlpool and we get good discounts on our appliances but after 4 failed attempts to fix our brand new fridge ( 6 months old) I had enough I was spending over $20 a day for ice for my coolers just to keep my food from going bad and because I didn't purchase a service plan from them I was left hanging after I spent $160 in ice I said I'm going to buy another fridge... read more

I ordered a cook top from Lowe's. It was to be delivered the next week but the time was extended several times. I had the false assumption from speaking with someone in the store that with the fee paid, the old unit hauled away meant that the new unit would be installed when delivered as with other appliances I've purchased in the past. The delivery men said they didn't know anything about the merchandise and that I would have to call Lowe's. Lowe's said I would have to set another day for installation. Worst experience ever at this this Lowe's. The older man that checked us out was extremely rude. He shouldn't not be employed there. The item I was charged for was the wrong price and the man refused to honor the price. I went back and took a photo of product and brought it back to him and he still would not honor it. That is bait and switch and he said if I wanted the price on the tag that "I would have to go find a manger and he would have to call him." Really? I will never use Lowe's again. Ordered a front door with transom window. The door arrived after a 3 week delay with no transom. Another ordered placed for another 4-6 week delivery time. Transom arrived now needing the rep from the manufacturer to door and transom together before install. Still no reply with an ETA for delivery and install. Now almost 6 months into the waiting game. Calls go unanswered although they have cashed my $7,000 check. I am thoroughly disgusted with the customer service.

Bought refrigerator at Lowe's. I was not informed that their installers would refuse to hook up the new refrigerator to copper water line or even disconnect the old refrigerator from the copper water line.. Hence, the newly purchased refrigerator sat in my garage for one week until I was able to disconnect the copper water line from the old refrigerator. The installers then returned to put the new refrigerator in its place but refused to hook it up to my copper water line. I had to call a plumber to connect the new refrigera... read more

I shopped at Western Hills Lowes on Sunday, March 21, 2021. That morning my refrigerator went out. Since we were redoing our entire kitchen, we decided to go ahead and purchase all new kitchen appliances. We purchased a refrigerator we know was in stock and scheduled delivery for Wednesday. The other 4 appliances purchased that day would be arriving about 6 weeks later. When you spend $18,000 + on kitchen cabinets and they are wrong and they won't correct the problem - I will never go in there again or recommend Lowe's again. The two people that helped us design our kitchen both lost their job and I'm guessing for obvious reasons, but that is NOT our fault and when our cabinets did not come correct PLUS when they delivered, they did not deliver our kitchen island and when we asked about it, they said they would deliver it but we would be charged for it. If I could give 0 stars, I would. We bought an LG washer and dryer 17 months ago. The other day when washing a small load of laundry, the drum broke and completely dented the casing on the washer. Lowe's sent out their preferred protection plan company to check it out. After the tech told me he didn't know why this happened and he thought Lowe's would write me a check for what we paid, Lowe's is now telling me that the damage was done unintentionally and therefore, not covered. First off I've never have a problem with direct in-store purchases. Usually people are helpful, things are easy to find, and check out is quick. Early this year my husband and I purchased an entire appliance suite (microwave, dishwasher, oven, and fridge) from Lowe's. It was a good price and the employee was helpful with check out. The microwave and fridge delivery went great, no issues. The issues that we had were with the dishwasher and oven delivery and install.
