I attempted to pay for merchandise with a personal check at Lowe's in Lady Lake Florida. When the clerk ran it through the "reader" the check was rejected. I stood at the check- out for at least a half hour. Finally the clerk returned the check to me with no apology. I drove to my bank and they assured me the check was ok. I placed an order for blinds at the end of February. We purchased blinds at the end of February 2021 for our new home. It took about 15-30 days to have the blinds delivered and then installed which was the normal turnaround time. However, the blinds were not to our specifications. Furthermore, two of the sets were broken (would not go up) and all of the tilt cord lengths were way too short. I feel that I have been involved in a bait and switch advertisement. I have been a long time Lowes customer and previously had great experiences until the last two years. My experience in the last two weeks solidifies my leaving and not using Lowes in the future. I will have to follow my husband out the door of lowesjust as he did one year ago. He went to a NJ Lowes to get a mask so he could shop and guess what the manager didhe threw him out! Instead of helping him find a mask as one of the employees was doing, he simply threw him out. That was the last time my husband shopped at Lowes. I received an incorrect order in the mail (a large shelving unit) and after waiting an hour and 15 minutes on hold to speak to a person about the mistake, I was told I need to go in person to return the shelf to get my refund even though I don't live anywhere near a Lowe's, I don't have a car, and this is a large shelving unit. Just to get a refund for the mistake they made.

I am a disabled senior citizen who during a pandemic purchased a riding lawn mower from Lowe's in hibbing Minnesota. One year and 5 days later my Craftsman mower was spewing oil. Lowe's was not even helpful in finding a mechanic to fix my lawn mower. They just kept putting me off giving me another 800 number to call. Lowe's should have some kind of service after the sale. They just take your money and forget all about you.

I bought a washer it was supposed to be delivered the next day and it took 3 weeks. They lied to me and gave me the run around. Finally had to go pick it up myself. They were supposed to give me 10% discount but never got it. Advice don't buy anything from Lowes in Elkin
