Don't hire Lowe's! When someone wants 100% payment up front that's the first red flag. Lowe's installed a Trex deck and fence in Aug of 2020. Warranty good until mid Aug of 2021. In early June of 2021 I called Lowe's to have someone come out and fix two deck boards which had bowed upward. Today is Wednesday, July 14. I have been told three times someone would call me but no one ever calls. Last week they promised someone would be her Monday or Tuesday to fix the problem. Lowe's does not handle refunds in a business like manner and refuses to allow a customer to talk to the main store manager about the refund issue. Evidently Lowe's management does not care about the customer's interest.

I bought flooring for my sunroom from Lowes in McCandless Township in Pittsburgh. I had to go back four times because the woman who was working had never sold the particular floor that I wanted, and she wanted to make sure that I purchased everything that I needed. This did not bother me because Lowes is two seconds from my house, and I'm always in there. Eventually, an old-timer led me through everything that I needed. Horrible everything! Bought 60 bags of insulation was told they had 200 in stock. Came to pick them up and took 2.5 hours for them to find 38 bags! After that another 45 min to return the bags they didn't have. Then 35 min to rent a "free" blower and paying a $250 deposit. How am I writing a review right now when I should be blowing in 38 bags you ask? Because, the blower over heats every 1 bag and takes 5-10 min to cool off before it can restart. I concur with previous comments. If there was less than one star I would give it. We have waited four and a half months for "stock" windows to be installed. Their "professional" installers have rescheduled multiple times. Today at 11 am I was messaged that the installer was picking up windows and would be headed our way. At 5:30 pm no call no show. I have reached out to everyone possible and no one will address the situation. We have $20,000 worth of home projects waiting to be done and all we have to show for it is a front ... read more

It is jaw-tightening to go into a store to find specific parts or components to be used in the process of making repairs and finding NOTHING MANUFACTURED in the UNITED STATES. When I have had to replace small electric space heaters and when I have had to find specific replacement fittings, almost every product on the shelf is chicom crap which does not last more than nine months. We had flooring installed in January and was not completed until June! They use outside installers that are totally incompetent. They wouldn't give us any help in their so called resolution department. I spoke with at least 10 different associates that vowed to make me happy and resolve this issue. For a$1600 dollar job they "credited" my account with $136 and some change! They first told me that credit was for materials which they now changed to a credit! To whom it may concern, Since it's literally impossible to get a hold of an actual person on the phone at my Lowe's home store Tucson, AZ (Oracle location) as well as the customer service number. I'm writing an email. 3 weeks ago I purchased two appliances- a gas range and dishwasher and spent $1800. Have had the worst experience ever!! My gas range was installed incorrectly causing a gas leak which I had to call Lowes and have them come back out to fix. They did, top range works and then I had to go out of town on business.... read more

My review is more for the BBB. How does Lowes rate an A+ rating with a 1.15 out of 5 review rating out of 1070 customer reviews? I wont waste my time with my complaints against Lowes since the customer reviews dont mean anything.
