Inventory policy online is atrocious and false advertising as website says in stock but is unsellable. Still haven't received my gift card after order was canceled. Will not be doing business with Lowes again.

I bought a refrigerator in store that was on clearance for a still-expensive price. The very pleasant associate took a look on their inventory, said they had one in inventory and it could be delivered on the 30th. I called on the 30th, and was told delivery was changed to the following week. No one had bothered to call & tell me! Since it was on clearance, I wanted to make sure there was one available somewhere nearby, so asked for a callback from someone in the appliance department - no one called. Please save yourself money and time...Don't shop here! June 26 2021 went to Lowes and bought a new refrigerator, stove, and microwave. Were told Fridge and microwave would be delivered next Friday July 2nd. They called the night of July 1st to tell us they would be coming on July 2nd with the microwave and Fridge. July 2nd they never arrived and they never called us to let us know they were not coming. We took work off for this. We ended up calling them at 5pm and they told us they would be here at 8:20 pm. On Saturday August 28, 2021, I walked into the Lowe's in Fultondale, AL (#1744) to shop for white paint. As I'm browsing in the different paint colors, I suddenly hear yelling behind me at the paint service counter. I turned around and saw 2 employees, Jasmine and another female. Stay away from MAJOR purchases here, DISHONET MANAGEMENT ( in our opinion). Sold us $8k of Carpet, Guaranteed to be in-stock, confirmed that 2x after sale, told it was delivered to Installer - then later said it never shipped and was out of stock for over a month. Asked for a refund - told we were past the 3 day Legal window for refunds - even though we were induced into the contract with bad information they provided- Huge back and forth - finally threated Legal action - only then did we get a refund. If I could I would leave no star because LOWES has been the worst experience I have had to date. After ordering windows in Feb 2021 and being promised that they would be delivered within 6 to 8 weeks by the windows consultant. I am still waiting on actually knowing when my windows will be all available and we are at the end of August. Over the past 6 months no one in LOWES has called, emailed or texted to let me know when the windows will be available. Ordered table 6/4...refused 6/10 or 11...2 corners of package were torn open and bothe corners of table were damaged...reordered 6/11....called 6/30 concerning refund...said 21 business days, end if July...called 7/31 about refund...said 10 more days...called 8/20...told them if refund wasn't received w/I next 5 business days, I would contact Visa and BBB...8/28 contacted Visa to dispute charge and reviewed service on Lowe's website...Will be receiving credit by 8/31/2021

i have always had great in person service at lowes but ordering online is terrible. my order placed on the 18th of Aug with eta of 24th never came. customer service never reached out and i have called 3 times never to get someone on the phone to tell me if its ever coming there so big they don't care how they treat people.

My parents contracted the Lowe's in Ruckersville, VA to hire contractors to build a deck over a year ago. Fast forward and the deck has STILL NOT passed inspection! My dad (a retired military veteran) has called corporate and the managers in the Ruckersville stores but no one seems to care! The bank is billing them for the deck and my parents have been told that to avoid a negative credit rating they should be paying the bill for the deck but I do not understand how, in good conscience, the Lowe's can request payment when th... read more
