I was a Griddy fan but its pricing has blown up last two months. I don’t care how many hours pricing drops from two cents to negative. It doesn’t make up for the times power goes to 250 cents or more! And low prices are when I don’t use much and vice versa. You guys need to rely on a mix of day ahead and month ahead pricing. If it’s real time only, then I’m paying the forecasting error rate. Lots more downside than upside.
I love it. I have been active for a little over two months. Transparent pricing, and you have control if you want to buy power during higher prices, but would like to see IFTTT integration so that I could have automatic control, when prices spike. Set your recharge rate to your average monthly usage and you won’t get charged as often. Get $25 credit for you and a friend when you recommend them with a link they send you.

Highly recommend for transparent residential electricity pricing! No contracts either which is a huge plus. I recommend others to at least try Griddy out for a month and see if you are satisfied with the savings!
People griddy is a prepaid company and you have to have $49 on your account and can't go below $10 or they will put a switch hold on your meter but by law there not aloud to unless they have talked to you about a deferred payment plan and your account reaches -$50y here is proof my account was at -$7.76 they really by law can not put a switch hold on my meter but did just y'all be careful because they don't tell you these things check into it before y'all go to them
