RecommendedGriddy has been a Godsend for us! We are living in the biggest house of our lives( 3,720 sq ft) but it is older, without the updates like new windows or much insulation. It’s also our first all electric house—(no natural gas!) So our midwinter and midsummer bills of 2018 BEFORE WE SWITCHED TO GRIDDY hit over $450 !!! And other months around $250! RecommendedI have been very happy since I switched to Griddy. I have learned a lot about how to shop for energy in Texas recently. It’s nice to know that I no longer have a reason to shop for the gimmicky fixed rate plans that are out there. I like not being stuck in a contract, which is a benefit with Griddy too. griddy is mad cause I pointed out their rates for low kwh usage were high so they blocked my personal account and deleted my comments because they didn't want people knowing how high their rates are!

Keep saying they responded to my comment on how they charged me $548 for one month then I complained, the meter was checked, and when I filed a complaint with the utilities commission they said I had to pay or they would turn off the electric. I believe the previous owner did not pay for months and they strong-armed me to pay. Horrible customer service and no explanation They blamed it on the meter reader.
