Awesome time with Customer Apreciation by Griddy Electric Company at the music festival. Save money on electricity and get great customer service too. The crawfish was awesome.
Credit card was stolen and used to pay for Griddy services and to open multiple accounts. Support asked me my information, name, and then if I was a member. I reminded them my card was stolen and they refused to assist further. Look at reviews on this company, and don't use them for 'deregulated energy' - The lot of these companies are scams, and GoGriddy seems to welcome credit card fraud.
No catch and straight forward energy cost. One and only wholesale energy company.
I gave it a try and it really works. I am saving 50 % , few months less, many months more than that. I was exceptic at first, however, I gave it a try because doing figures I realize it may be the same as a fix rate without contracts. Prepay usually can handle lower prices which gave me another green flag. I am very glad I did !!
We have been with Griddy for 3 full months and our charges are SIGNIFICANTLY down. Maybe because I pay attention when the alerts tell me of real-time surges, but I don’t usually see them until hours after the fact. (My bad.) I am wildly conscious of necessary utility payments, especially because they seem to go up and up, without explanation. I am paying a little over 8 cent/KWh with CenterPoint delivery fees and Griddy membership so it is less than the 10-11 cent/KWh I had been paying with other retail electricity providers (REP). I wish Griddy could lower their membership fee from $9.99/month to a lower amount after being a member for a certain time period like one year.
