First month at Griddy and already discovering the shoddy practices of the company. The company hides the billing details and just keeps on deducting your prepaid balance. You never provide information on how many kwh were paid at what rates (billing details). Don't I have the right to verify if you are charging me accurately. My May Statment with TRIEAGLE Energy was $217.42, used 1,753 kWh, Avg Rate of 12.1 cents per kWh. I switched over to Griddy Electric my June Statement with Griddy was $147.86, used 1,802 kWh, Avg Rate 8.2 cents a kWh. Using 49 kWh more than the previous month, my bill dropped by $69.56 from the previous month an Avg of 47.3% percent in savings and 33.3% percent in kWh. Do the Math, I highly recommend Griddy. I'm a Happy Camper, and the best thing there's no contract you can cancel at any time.
I can't speak for everyone else, but I have seriously save half of what I normally would have paid in electricity. With the summer being as hot as it is and with my bad experience last year with multiple electric companies, I am happy that I finally found a reasonable energy company. I truly hope this company continues to grow and spread to other states so I can recommend it to friends and family.

Establish a standard rate that stays the same 24/7. From the comments to posts I've read it appears a person has to constantly adjust their thermostat throughout the day. I am old and forgetful and don't want to have to try to remember to do that. We keep our thermostat on 76 all day and night which is comfortable for us. Also, I must use a credit card to pay. I read that Griddy charges extra for credit cards. I just don't have $200 extra in my checking account. So for these and other reasons I think I'll stick with a fixed ... read more
Great company and great service. My electric bills have never been lower.
I changed my password and the app will no longer work on my iPad or iPhone. I can't get anyone to do anything but send me emails, NO phone calls. If I can't get the app to work, I might as well cancel my service.
