Get out now! Monday I paid $57 for the day. Yesterday was $145, no joke. I'm done. Worst decision ever. Oh, and calling their customer service is a joke. Forces you to leave a message. I’ve been calling and sending emails with no results to cancel my membership.
Unexpected price hike out of nowhere! Greedy is more like it.
This is the absolute worst electric provider that I've ever been with!!! They just charged me .53 per kwh for one day and then the next was $1.63 per kwh. That is $386 just for 2 days. Are you kidding me?!?! Who does that, there's no way the rates are that high. This company is a SCAM!!!!!!!! Do not choose this company!
Advertise great rates. The reality is recently you do not get anywhere close to it. Had average of 56.7 cents per kwh yesterday. At one point was up to $9.03 per kwh (Company I just signed up for has locked in rate of 7.3 cents per kwh) $46.12 for the day, and I had my AC units off from noon until 7 pm. My bill for the entire month with another electric company last month was $139. Have already signed up for another provider, and will never consider Griddy again. Griddy, you just met your demise. The absolute worst and most expensive energy experience of my life.
RecommendedGriddy is great despite the price spikes which comes with the territory. With Griddy, you're not on a flat priced contract, but month to month payment what the wholesale price is. Summer months come with expensive price spikes, but otherwise you'll save all other times where the price will be well below what the flat rate plans are charging.
