Are you kidding me!!!! $40 for one half of a a day of energy?!?! Someone needs to contact me now!!! I’ll keep finding avenues until one of you respond to me. Called 5 times... left voicemails sent emails this is ridiculous!!! Can’t wait to have a real electricity company!!!
Insane price spike, ridiculous honestly. You claim to have the best price yet for a single day we are spending $90-$150, and there were multiple days of this. It does NOT equal out in the end. I’ve seen people’s bills well over $300 for a day. And you say just to turn off all the power? Easy to say when you’re not in 109 degree weather with kids. Though I have none, I sympathize with those that do. You advertised the prices wouldn’t go that high and yet we were paying nearly $10 per kilowatt.

I've found that Griddy data is incorrect and misleading. They position their app as a 15 minute updated wholesale market; but conserving during peak hours doesn't actually do anything as they will smooth your data usage over the peak times and charge you the peak rate anyway. Overall turning off our power during peak times doesn't end up saving you any money as they will smooth it over the peak times anyway. They lie and these price spikes have charged me 97.00 for yesterday alone!! This should be illegal what this company does. They aren’t even charging everyone the same price so if they base it odd ercot like they say then everyone would be charged the same price per kWH for that time. This company doesn’t call you back and is a 100% scam. I just changed to another provider. All the "price spikes" have my card on fire as much as they are drafting from it! Aug 12...$50. Aug $13...ANOTHER $50. I never got my credits from the friend referral I used OR GAVE! I have already paid $300 bucks this month and it's only the 14th of Aug! I'm LITERALLY being drafted every few days! NO THANK YOU. Buh bye!
