was charged 174 dollars for one day and 63 the day before... mon the 12 Tue the 13 august... charged over 480 dollars for 25 days of electricity.... griddy tu our about to join the ranks of the good idea bad execution of idea club... do not use this joke of a company
It was going ok but recently. I was charged $240.97 for 1 DAY!!! I'm not kidding. We are currently at an average of 31.3 cents pkwh. I cannot afford this. They have taken the recharge amount of $125 2 days in a row. I switched, but it doesn't take effect until Monday. I hope and pray that we don't have another day like the 13th. :(
9 dollars a kilowatt. how can people make it paying these prices. only two weeks into August and my bills already 250 bucks. and terrible customer service they don't answer the phones.
Prices aren’t as low as promised. Right now it’s $9.00 per kWh. Has been for the last 15 minutes. I will end up paying $100 or more for 1 day of electricity and I am conserving!
People will be losing their power and every dime in their bank account just to get through a few days in August. $200 in one day and today will be worse. People are crying that they have paid more than any 2 months worth of bills combined for a day or 2 of power. They don’t have money to recharge and will have their power will be cut off. People will inevitably die in this heat thanks to a failed business model in Griddy.
So sorry for this company. Bad timing. Wholesale prices at record highs. My 12 cent rate looked high until the last few days with Griddy. +$1.00/kwh just killed any savings for the next two years. Peace out.
This is the highest my electric has ever been. Choose something else.
Worst company ever, I was charged 8$/kwh Yesterday and they are still charging my account till now, no customer service and they won’t answer the emails nor phone, I have been trying to contact them since yesterday with not a single reply. Stay away from them there are plenty of other companies out there!
I was told average was 8.3 cents. I've been with Griddy for 5 days, August 10th until now, and my average is 90.4 cents. Come on! The rep told me one thing knowing that rates weren't even close to 8.3.
