my account is being drained I can not talk to anyone
I was charged over 1.25/kw for almost an ENTIRE DAY. I brought my account up to $70 on Friday, and by Wednesday I was back down to $12. Now I’m being shown that I’ll be charged $5.00 per kilowatt. I’ll be switching to another provider by the end of the day.
I'm noticing a pattern of every time I recharge the account I get these price spikes of 8 dollars/Kwh. the most I paid was 9 bucks and change per Kwh. Our first month was great. We had about a 100 dollars savings. This is our second month and its only the 15th and I'm at 274 dollars paid into already so it looks like it'll be a 600 dollar friggen light bill this month. Griddy was AWESOME during the winter/spring but this summer I have paid about $100 a month for a 680 sqft apt (I live ALONE) keeping my AC on 77, not being home 90% of the time cus I’m working, and even had to pay the 1st then the 15th of this month even though I was on vacation the 8-13 and didn’t use my lights so ever. I had the AC on 77 while I was gone cus of my cats. I’m about to switch cus it has become ridiculously unaffordable when everyday we have about 4 price spikes of 90-140 kWh a hour! I was with griddy exactly for 55 days (almost 2 months) and i paid $496 @ 40.3 cent kwh. This company is scam. Would never recommend anybody. This is 15 days of bill in august.
$9 per KWH?? price goes up too high.
Two days during August can ruin an entire year of savings. Don't be surprised to see $100+ days in August because the whole sale price skyrockets.
Total scam. $175 for one day of service. I fell for it - please save yourself the mistake by my example!
