Work with ERCOT so prices are not soo high in the summer
Update: Keep an eye! They continue increasing the charges even when my service is not connected with them since Friday. Look at the pictures of yesterday’s statement and today’s! Worst company I have ever been with. Ended up paying 31.9 cents Kwh. They charged me more than $130 over last night once I requested to switch providers! Scammers!
Started out good. Then had a few days with average price of $.50+ per kWh. Ended up costing me $50-100 per day for electric. Absolutely brutal.
I will put a screen shot of my bank account in the comments - this is since the beginning of this month...(I just switched to Griddy the end of July) - I have been charged $441 since August 1st - I know you keep saying the savings come over time - BUT THIS IS RIDICULOUS - I believe a SCAM and will be filing a complaint - cutting my losses and returning to fixed rate!!!!!!!!!!
$9kwh! This place is a joke! I think they just signed up as many people as they could then hiked the price over a couple days! This should be illegal! What a joke! I hope a law suite comes out over this scam artist.

The price increases and out of control
This company is HORRIBLE. My bill is at $200 for 15 days!! This is the worst electricity bill I have ever had. Even in the summer months of Texas! I will be switching my service ASAP!
Also want to contribute my experience. Only halfway through August and Griddy has already charged me more than any electricity bill in the last 4 years. They will tell you this summer is unique, but there is no way this is a better deal than a regular electric company. Buyer beware.
