I'm averaging 9.13 cents for my all in rate with Griddy, across ten months. With TXU, my all in average was 17.69, even with one of their best plans! I have saved $1,554.25 since January! Run! They continue to charge you even after you cancel. I cancelled on the 14th and since then my card had been charged 5 times! No one answers the customer service line and no responses to email.
worst ever in the summer. 2 and a half weeks into this month and I've already paid over 300. I have a small one bedroom apartment
In 13 days in August, Griddy wiped out any savings I might have received for the rest of the year. If I had stayed the whole month of August, Wow! It is not the company it sells itself to be.
I honestly thought I’d cancel and come back when temps were cooler but after I canceled they have recharged my debit card twice and charged me for a day that I paid through the new company. Sure they are going to refund me eventually but Not the overdraft fees I’m going to be getting. I have been trying to contact them 4 days now and all I keep getting is the generic “were too busy can’t answer.” And if you want to cancel just sign up somewhere else and it will automatically cancel us.”
Too many variables plus sales tax, plus membership plus merchant service fees... and specially summer time it is not worth it as high prices in the afternoon and 2-3 months of summer kill all the savings you have for the whole month.
If someone would answer the phone and explain everything that's going on I would probably feel better, but that's not happening they just keep sending you to a voicemail and no one ever calls back so I just made a complaint to the Public Utility Commission so I hope that works😡😡😡
