Great experience only complaints nurse Ashley in SICU has personality like a dish rag nobody in family likes her on the other hand Chris and Elizabeth or wonderful people they have been a blessing. By far the worst experience I have ever had at an Emergency room. The most unorganized, slow moving,uncompassionate medical care staff I have ever encountered and I have encountered a lot. I will not be back. The doctors (Dr. David Wharton MD resident and Dr. Kevin Stevens MD/EMR) blatantly treated me as a pill seeker even after telling him I was on pain meds and they were not managing the excruciating pleurisy pain I was experiencing at the moment which was why my rheumatologist had ordered me to get to the ER. The Drs. Really care about your situation, and helps out the was way they know possible!!
I had maybe 1 nurse that actually checked on me in the ER. I was here twice within a week because the doctors didn't fix my DkA the first time. Overall a horrible and irritating experience.
I have nothing but good things to say about this place. They saved my brother's life! Doctors and nurses as well as support staff have been great!
I was admitted Wednesday Jan. 25 for bladder cancer surgery, I was attended to by great techs, great nurses and great Dr.'s. My wife was present and we were both treated with kindness, respect that you would expect. We developed a bond with almost every person that we came into contact with. We consider it an honor to have meet so many wonderful staff and professionals.You have the very best in personnel Jerry and Joanie Johnson room 8114
