I have taken my Friend to Erlanger several times, to see Dr Alpers and to have tests done. Dr Alpers is an awesome Neurologist. He has been one of the only bright spots with the ALS diagnosis. He, along with his Staff are very caring. The hospital Staff has been so friendly and helpful each time she has had to go in for testing. They lead us to wherever we need to go. Thank you so much!
A very dear friend of mine was diagnosed with a brain tumor with a bleed on February 3, 2017 at Murphy Medical ER and transported to Erlanger ER VIA helicopter. I met her there. We spent two days and two nights in the ER because they didn't have a room available in ICU. I am a recently retired RN. To say her patient care was unsatisfactory is an understatement! ICU waiting room not comfortable. Worst I've ever been to. This area is for families of critically ill people and a lot of time is spent there. You can't move the furniture to prop your feet up and get some rest. Can't bring your own pillows or blankets, can't lay on the floor. Totally uncomfortable chairs. Then when he gets in a regular room on the 6th floor yesterday, he gets no lunch today, the lift crew takes for ever to get to him to help him to the rest room. Great care on the Orthopedic floor, everyone was exceptionally wonderful and took great care of my Mom!! Thank you to the whole staff of that floor!!!
Great facility and staff.Great to have a cutting edge hospital in our area.
Everyone was so kind and compassionate to my daughter throughout her surgery. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. All of her doctors and nurses were wonderful.
