I have been to this hospital in the past, with good results, But this time It Was Awful!!!.... I went with my daughter, because my 12 month old granddaughter was sick, we were called back to this waiting area...it was my daughter and grand baby and me plus another lady and her baby....then about 6 or 7 people came in after we were seated...after about 10 minutes, they came in and called EVERYONE OUT OF THAT WAITING ROOM EXCEPT US!!......(All at the same time,).... The staff was sweet and wonderful. They played with my exuberant toddler as she walked the halls before naps and bed. My only complaints are: the playroom was closed all weekend, and the food was expensive. We were only there three days, but three meals a day for mommy was pretty pricey... Other than that it was probably one of my better hospital experiences.
This is a great place. My son has been suffering from pancreatitis and I wouldnt want him to be any where else. He was admitted over night and was on tn 3rd floor everyone there was so nice and accomodating. Even the Dr. took time to explain everything in detail along with asking me about my concerns. They even have places to accomodate the parents. Great place to be if you have to be there with a sick child.
The safe is amazing and Dr. Zmaj was perfect! Everyone made our visit enjoyable and painless! Would recommend this hospital to everyone!
Our little guy broke his arm yesterday, we made the decision to drive the extra 20 minutes to TC Thompson and we are SO glad we did. The level of care and attention our entire family received was absolutely phenomenal. I don't think we could have gotten any better somewhere else. Everyone was so patient and amazing with him, every question we (and he) had was addressed and answered. His arm was tended to so well that he's not been in hardly a twinge of pain.
