Evergy is a joke they say they will work with you on your bill but they don't give 2 craps about anyone, I asked if I could pay 8 days later from the cutoff date thats when I get paid they said sorry we can't help you call 211, 211 don't help anyone it's a joke too, I'm moving away from ks just to get away from this non caring power company I hate them.

Evergy ***** i rented a place and put on budget billing, havent been there for 6 months my bill went up ***** cause they went back 12 months so basically im paying someone elses 6 month electric prior of me moving in wben they should wait until i have been there for 12 months and all i got from them was too bad so sad totally unfair.

never met a company whos rate is going to go up not inform there customers of the change. LET ALONE HAVE THE **** GO *****%. its ridiculous. if there was another way to get power. evergy would go bankrupt

This is WORST energy company that I have been doing business with. They cannot keep power on consistently. There is NO reason to have issues every month.

ase can you help me understand Evergy policy? Today, I had a man come to my door and demand payment for electric service. We had been on vacation and have not had a mail carrier delivering mail for a few weeks, so I did not receive a ****. (My account was less than 30 days overdue.)I have reported fraud to Evergy in the past, so I was not comfortable remitting payment to the stranger at the door who was claiming to represent Evergy. I hate Evergy!! My power goes out a few times every couple months for reasons that are NEVER explained!! How is the power in my neighborhood going out this many times when there's no storm, no line down, etc? It is f****** BLAZING outside!! STOP turing off the GOT **** POWER!! Not to mention that food is WAY to expensive these days to be going bad because there are multiple unexplained power outages happening every couple months!! This s*** is ridiculous!! We had a power line to our house down to a tree limb and they were no help. They said it was up to us to hire a electrician. I would have gladly paid for them to fix. We are a month out and still trying to find someone to fix. We have children and a dog. Havent been able to use our backyard. What do we pay all this money for?

I wish I could rate a 0. Lack of communication with customers. We were missing some information in building our account but we did not receive an email stating so. We even received and confirmation email of our account being set up. Then we wake up this morning to no power on a hot day. We call them and find out we never had an account. We send them the all of the information they needed, hopefully this time, and they say it will take 2-3 business days.
