Coming up on 24 hours without power. All our neighbors have electricity and the two workers in the truck that came to our house said that they could see no reason for us being without power. They also said another truck would be out. That did not happen today, and it it supposed to be 107 tomorrow. The two workers actually did say that they "couldn't say" when the truck would be out and were unable to answer any questions. It is impossible speak speak with a human- let ***** a human who knows anything.
Electricity went out yesterday 7/30/23, Sunday at 5pm, before storm. Crew came out and dig safe people marked. Then storm hit, they left and never came back. I keep calling and they give me nothing. Bought coolers and ice and bags. This company obviously can't handle any kind of adverse weather situations. Stuck since they have zero competition. Seems like we at least deserve an explanation.

If I could give 0 stars I would. I am a single mother of 4. All kids in home are under 10. Youngest is a newborn. I have a 8 year old that has medical equipment he cant use at this moment. My total bill was $252 I made a $50 payment 7/16/23 I couldnt afford the entires bill. I get paid bi weekly. My rent is $1000 my bi weekly car payment is $280 daycare bi weekly is $300. this is a deeply terrible and ugly company. avoid them at all costs. They were exremely rude to us and told us there was nothing they could do during a 4 day power outage in the middle of summer. I look forward to them being completely replaced with solar energy. 0 stars for being just awful people.
141 years in business and still this terrible? Goes to show they don't care at all about anything but money. Premium charges, extra fees and no improvements in the entire time they've been a business. You'd think they would have worked to improve the grid at least to be somewhat more stable. Company was totally unprepared for energy restoration after Fridays storm. I did not see any crews until Sunday noon. They should not be the energy provider for greater Kansas City.
They drastically under report tje number of outages on their map. They are currently pretending their are significantly less people/ residences out of power in my neighborhood then they are. Furthermore you cannot get even an estimate on repairs because they quite literally haven't assessed our area.
