Westshore advertises one day service. It took them five different days to try to install my shower properly. They never have fixed two issues but they are promising compensation. I would never recommend them to anybody else

Business response:

We have been trying diligently to contact Ms. C***** so that we can address her issues. She is refusing to take our calls, often answering and then hanging up. We are attempting to contact her at the highest levels of leadership because we take tremendous pride in helping our customers if they have a need. We strive very hard to provide all of our customers with an exceptional experience during all aspect of their project. We will continue to attempt to contact Ms. C***** as we genuinely want to resolve any and all issues sh... read more

My request to remodel my shower was taken in May, but service wasn't completed till August. The initial order was taken by Salesman Joshua B. who went over various shower models to include specific shower doors, but on the installation date the shower was remodeled without a shower door, a curtain was added in its place. I found myself going back and forth with West Shore Reps trying to rectify this issue. I stressed the entire goal was to upgrade my current shower to include a door. Local West Shore manager Eric claimed the... read more

Business response:

We sincerely apologize to Mr. Mack for the miscommunication during his design consultation. To make this right for him we sold him the shower door at a 50% discount.

Horrible caulking lines... awful craftsmanship so bad the manager ordered my shower for a redo.. well when taking the seat.. during the redo he dropped it in my floor pan.. very much damaging my floor shower pan.. now I am left with horrible cracked shower pan... This company claims to be one day hassle free.. well it has been a nightmare paid 15000 dollars for this and the turmoil it has caused is awful.... this was suppose to be a happy moment in my life turned into a nightmare dont stay away.. run away

Business response:

We have heard Mr. Evan's frustration and responded in true West Shore Home fashion. Our General Manager has personally contacted Mr. Evans and will be overseeing his project until Mr. Evans is totally satisfied. At West Shore Home we have issues arise with less than 1% of our projects. When an issue does arise we will always own our mistakes, do what is right, and stand by our customer to ensure complete satisfaction.

West Short basically removed my master bathroom for a very high price tag in fact. The workmanship left a lot to be desired and it took me numerous phone calls to get a representative to come review the work. The end result was trying to "fill" in the gaps between the wallboard and the new shower walls with calk. There remain large gaps between the wallboard and the shower walls. The end product does not measure up to the slimest of standards. The hardware used was also the least expensive and I had to replace the shower hea... read more

Business response:

Mr. P******'s project was installed in January of 2020. We received Mr. P******'s communication and immediately sent our Installation Manager to personally visit his home the same day. We have identified the issue with his wall and have a plan in place to fix it. Our General Manager will also be reaching out to Mr. P****** to ensure his is completely satisfied.

This is by far the most incompetent company I have ever Dealt with. Promised one day installation =lie , put holes in my dry wall and left it for me to repair, unprofessional messy chalking job that looked as if a toddler did it, put an u even drain in which means you can’t stand in the showers comfortably defective water temperature gauge that burnt me and my grand daughter, absolutely horrible experience, literally thousands of dollars for horrible work even left the shower dirty after they installed it.

Business response:

We have heard Ms. H******* concerns and responded in true West Shore Home fashion. We immediately sent our master plumber and General Manager to her home to address any and all issues. We successfully resolved all issues except one as we needed a specialty tool. We offered to return the following day but that did not fit her schedule. We are returning at a date picked by her as that was the earliest she was available. We have issues arise with less than 1% of our projects, but when we do we will always own, stand by our cust... read more

I would give them no stars. $9000.00 for a shower that has proven they are simply liars. My shower after 10 months already the caulking is breaking down. I was told not to use comet to clean, and I haven’t. The non stain blah blah blah is nothing short of complete garbage. The installation was a nightmare. I had my own shower head but if I installed it my warranty was canceled. Are you kidding me. It is a bait and switch advertising campaign. When you watch the commercials with the shower door if you have one installed then ... read more

Business response:

We apologize to Ms. B****** for her frustration but what she is saying is simply not accurate. Using her own shower head, or installing a shower door supplied by someone else will not void her warranty. The only things that would not carry a West Shore Home warranty would be the shower head and shower door as we did not supply or install those items. All other aspects of her project would still be covered under her warranty. Ms. B****** has not contacted us regarding any issues with her caulking but we will reach out to her ... read more

We had our shower installed by west shore homes last march, and we noticed a crack in the shower pan this past April. We called the company, they sent someone to our home right away to examine the problem, the guy said the installation was Not done correctly, the base board installed was wrong, therefore, causing this crack now in the pan. And around one of the edge where the seal is, that part was not sealed correctly , therefore causing mold to grow behind the seal. We had to wait until mid August for them to come in and i... read more

Business response:

We sincerely apologize to the Shepards for these issues. This is not the experience we strive to provide for our customers. This was an error on the part of West Shore Home and we own it as such. Issue arise on less than 1% of West Shore Home projects and that is why we have an A+ rating with the BBB. Our General Manager has personally contacted the Shepards, and will oversee the project until they are 100% satisfied.

We had a remodel on our shower done in April. Well on the first try the panels were not glued properly, crown molding on our ceiling left with 2 gaps , pipes underneath were left with no covering and insulation left off of our water pipes, 2 4x4 holes in it. Here it is September and we have had them come back at least once a month to redo everything they messed up and they never have the work order for all the projects or they half do the job again. One guy came and put some kind of plastic that looks like trash bags on the ... read more

i am extremely dissatisfied at the moment with the company. My contract sates that install will take place 8-12 weeks after a signed contract. Well now i've been waiting 15 weeks after 2 rescheduling's, and was just asked to wait another 7 more weeks. Waiting 22 weeks in NOT acceptable and already a breach in contract by them.

Business response:

We sincerely apologize to Mr. P****. There were issues at the manufacturing level that were beyond our control. We currently have him schedule for installation on September 8th but we are actively working with the manufacturer to expedite delivery and move that date up. We will do everything possible to install his project in a timely fashion.
