Amazing service and customer care! My 2012 outback overheated causing major damage to the engine and transmission. Subaru covered most of the repair as Good Will and Kitty chipped in on much of the balance remaining. I am so pleased to have a newly refurbished engine and new transmission that will enable my car to reach the 200k mileage that Subaru is known for. Buying a car is usually such a hassle. The last time I bought a car it took 3 hours. At Van Bortel Subaru all my questions were answered, my trade-in was assessed, financing was secured, test drive was completed all in under 1 hour. Picking up my Forester was a breeze. I sat in the Forester with a young man who was able to connect my iPhone & show me all the latest gizmos. I’ll never purchase from anyone else!

This is my 2nd issue with customer service in 6 months. I brought my Outback in on Jan 3 in the evening and I finally got a call on Jan 5 after lunch. I called on the 4th but no call back like they said they would. I am told it is the head gasket and they say this is common. Yea right..think again and get a 2nd opinion. What could have been $2100 or more was nothing more than debris between the radiator and grill. This tells me they never tested the vehicle and just wanted my money. Is this because I am female?
