UPMC SAVED MY LIFE IN 2005!!
I have been coming here since my transplant, and have always been treated like family. I have at some point been on a different floor. And every one welcomed me with a SMILE. These are freeway people who deserve praise..
Just had orthopedic surgery here performed by Dr. A Klein it was a rather in depth knee surgery and painfull one but the staff all the away around were excellent. This is the standard in health care in my accident prone opinion ! Everything moved on schedule the surgery was a success and the recovery room nursing staff were impeccable ! How about showing compassion and respect to all of your employees by giving them a living wage and not forcing them to live in poverty, and forcing taxpayers to subsidize them with welfare benefits.....

Excellent! I enjoyed working on the Neurosurgical Trauma Unit upon earning my BSN from Pitt. I knew if I could work & successfully survive on THAT unit, I would pretty much be okay wherever I worked as an RN! The organizational skills I obtained and possess to this day, I attribute to having worked in such a setting, with such incredibly intelligent nurses. Very interesting and educational experience. The staff nurses were top notch.
